MRS. RONDEAU: Why did you start your blog?

MR. WELLS: I started out with a strong math/science background and never had any inclination to write when I was younger.  Then, over my business career, I got better at it, better at communicating.  And I always loved literature but never felt any need to write.  So over a period of time I felt as if, increasingly, I wanted to write something.  That was one thing working in the background.  But in January of 2008, in my day-to-day activities, just talking with my friends and watching what was going on, I knew that I wanted to be more involved in the election cycle.  That was clear.  I had more time; my kids were grown and I had fewer responsibilities.  But then, the other part was that Obama was gaining in prominence and I knew almost nothing about him.  So I decided, “This is a good opportunity.”

So I read a story which I thought was preposterous, and I thought, “I’m going to dig and do some research.”  Within approximately two days of doing that research, I knew that we had a problem.  And  I’m talking about digging deep.  I have a background in using the internet and researching, and I was so concerned within the first several weeks, it affected my sleep.  And I’m talking about the whole big picture about Obama, his background, Chicago corruption, and right on down the line.  And then very quickly, when I started asking questions on the internet, I got attacked for it.  And I’m talking about something very benign such as “Where was Obama in November of 1999?” and I was amazed.

Then I started following the Larry Sinclair story, and I quickly realized, “Wait a minute.  This is not just about his allegation; this is about attacks, death threats, internet scrubbing, misinformation.  If you go back to my early articles, you’ll see that after giving him the benefit of the doubt early on, soon I began noticing that we were getting into a new age reminiscent of Nazi Germany and very much like “1984.”  I have a hard copy of “1984″ which I have read and reread, and in my early articles, you will see, and others echoed my feelings, we are getting into the age of Big Brother quickly.  Now we have firm evidence recently with Google modifying the search engine results which WorldNetDaily reported, and I reported…it is scary.  So we are living in the age of Big Brother, I think.

MRS. RONDEAU: Do you think this started before the presidential primaries and Obama entered the picture?

MR. WELLS: Yes.  Revisionist history:  we all started noticing things.  School textbooks, for example, and that’s one of the things that is dear to my heart:  kids and textbooks.  I actually taught at the community college level many years ago full-time, computer science.  We all started watching this play out.  It’s like the frog in the pot of water which we all talk about:  you turn up the heat little by little.  We kind-of noticed it, stopped and paid attention, but we weren’t too concerned about it, and it happened ever so slowly.  So, yes, absolutely.  But it escalated almost exponentially.  I do pay attention, and one of the things I noticed was that these weren’t just overzealous supporters necessarily; there were different groups.  I started referring to the Obama camp as the big circle:  paid bloggers, right on down the line.  Much of this was orchestrated; it was readily apparent, and this was confirmed later on by the Obama campaign.

MRS. RONDEAU: Have they admitted that they have paid people to disseminate their information and viewpoint?

MR. WELLS: Yes, hundreds – and that’s what we know about, and God only knows what is going on behind that and the puppeteers pulling the strings.  So you’ve got me wound up now, and God help you!

MRS. RONDEAU: This gives us a good foundation as to why you started the site.

MR. WELLS: Well, I care about this country.  I have family, and I do; I really care.  I grew up in a time of “Leave it to Beaver,” where people were good people.  There was always corruption; there were bad politicians, but you felt as if you were safe because most of the politicians and most of government was looking out for your best interests.

MRS. RONDEAU: And not necessarily looking to take over your life.

MR. WELLS: Bingo.  Thank you.

MRS. RONDEAU: How is it looking now?

MR. WELLS: It is scary.  Most people don’t have a clue.  One of my recent concerns is specifically the Blagojevich trial, Chicago connections and connection to Obama.

MRS. RONDEAU: Have you researched the Blagojevich trial on your own, or have you reported the news that is already out there on it?

MR. WELLS: Since in theory, everything is on the internet, that’s really where most of us do our work.  I’ve had some contacts in Chicago that have reported to me behind the scenes.  And of course, as you know, I covered the Larry Sinclair story more than anyone else, and I did it for these reasons:  I was a skeptic at first.  I approached it objectively, but I asked the questions; I was seeking the truth, and over a period of time, through asking those questions and digging behind the scenes, I got to know Larry Sinclair.  But as I mentioned, it’s a much, much bigger story which gets into the internet scrubbing, the personal attacks, the death threats…I’ve had death threats against me; some have been reported to the FBI.  That’s even another story.

MRS. RONDEAU: So you’ve spoken to Larry Sinclair personally?

MR. WELLS: Yes.  It started out by my asking questions, and then after a month or so, we had some phone conversations.  I wanted to find out what was going on, because by that time, I knew there was more to the story than met the eye.  I was intensely curious, because I was experiencing people attacking me, and I had done nothing wrong.  I simply asked some questions.  So actually, I became involved more than I had planned.  Once we got into this and I saw what was happening, I was not about to let those thugs silence Sinclair and keep the story from the American public.  That’s how committed I was to it, and that’s exactly what they were trying to do.

MRS. RONDEAU: Do you think they succeeded in silencing the story?

MRS. WELLS: No, they have not, and all you have to do is look at The Globe, National Enquirer, and so forth, and the fact that the stories are still out on the internet.  Fewer people back then were inclined to believe the story, admittedly, but quite frankly, at this point in time, Sinclair has far more credibility with me than Obama does.  I say that without any hesitation whatsoever.

MRS. RONDEAU: That was going to be my next question.  Do you believe that Larry’s story is factual?

MR. WELLS: I’m as close to 100% convinced as I can be without having been there.  I can give you a snippet of detail.  His story actually works; if you go back in time to 2007 when he first started talking about it, almost no one knew that Obama spoke at Northwestern University the day after, which meant he was in Chicago.  A lot of people aren’t really connecting the dots because the capital is in Springfield.  What really caught my attention first when I started digging, after reading the interviews from Tim Russert, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Chicago Tribune, and so forth, they all had the same character to them:  Obama was hiding something.

When they asked about his Illinois Senate records, they got these baseless, nonsense responses, and that was interesting.  I then went directly to the Illinois Senate records for November 4, 1999, the opening day of the fall session, and Obama was not present.  And I thought, “Well, isn’t that interesting?”  It wasn’t a smoking gun, but it was darn interesting.  So over several months, I knew that Obama was not at the state capital on November 4.  He was in Chicago on the 9th, I think, and very few people knew about it.  It was not publicized; in fact, it had to be dug out of the recesses of the internet, so the odds were dramatically against Sinclair knowing that such that he could place Obama in Chicago the next morning.  And then you throw in other little details.  I reported earlier on the connections to Rezko and Levine.

MRS. RONDEAU: Who is Levine?

MR. WELLS: Stuart Levine was the key witness in the Tony Rezko trial.  If he is not brought in to the Blagojevich trial, we know that we really have a problem in this country.  In simple terms, Levine did the dirty work and was the primary witness at the Rezko trial.  Rezko was the brains behind the corruption.  In the transcripts of the Rezko trial, it was well-documented that Levine was heavily into drugs.  This is another piece of the puzzle.

I believe that Obama’s book was written in such a manner as to pre-emptively defuse certain aspects of his life, the drug use being one of them.  We know he has used drugs, and there’s other evidence of his using drugs, even some strong rumors, while at the White House.  So the fact that he used drugs in 1999 or could have used drugs in 1999 I think is highly probable.  Sinclair alleges it….

After months of staying mum, according to Fox News the White House is reportedly going address Joe Sestak’s claims that the Obama administration offered him a high-profile position if he would end his candidacy for the Senate seat held by Arlen Specter.

If these allegations prove true, it is a felony to bribe or entice a candidate to withdraw from a race and or interfere with an election process for federal office and someone is going to have to fall on the sword for Obama.

So who made the offer? Obama’s list of thugs and cronies is endless. We have started the process of filing the guilty verdicts of The CIA Columbia Obama Sedition Trial with The New York State Board of Regents, The Middle States Accreditation Board, and The New York State Bar against Columbia University and Mr. Michael Sovern.

It is reasonable to expect court battles with each agency before they either remove accreditation or disbar.

We will call for a coalition to present the verdicts to The US Senate, The House of Representatives, The Joint Chiefs of Staff, and The Attorney General’s Office.

U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama has invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House next Tuesday, Israeli officials said yesterday. The visit to Washington is being added to the end of Netanyahu’s previously scheduled trip to Canada. Netanyahu will meet in Jerusalem with Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, on Wednesday, who is currently in Israel on vacation and is expected to bring the official invitation with him.

Haaretz, the first to break the story, reports that Israeli officials said that Obama wanted to meet with Netanyahu soon, before Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas arrives in Washington for his White House meeting in another few weeks, due to the crisis in relations between Israel and the U.S. and the substantial criticism Obama has taken over it, from congressmen and from American Jewish leaders.

The Israeli sources said that Washington wants to try to erase the memory of the last meeting between Obama and Netanyahu when the press was barred and the White House did not even release a joint photo of the two leaders. This treatment – contrasting with the warm and well-publicized meetings Obama had held with various Arab leaders who visited Washington – was widely viewed as a deliberate attempt to humiliate Netanyahu.

The White House feared the upcoming meeting with Abbas, intended to show Obama’s support for the Palestinian leader, would draw unfavorable comparisons with the disastrous March meeting with Netanyahu, thereby deepening the crisis with Israel, and sparking more criticism of Obama’s Israel policy. Yon has openly stated the problems in Afghanistan right now and how we could lose this war, unless changes are made. He has been critical of the current rules of engagement that have put our troops in danger and could actually make this war like the Vietnam that the leftist media claimed it was early and often when Bush was president (it’s strange you don’t hear those comparisons from them anymore).

If Obama gets 20% of Jewish votes in 2012, it proves we can’t defend ourselves.

When it came to protecting the right of the Libyan Ambassador to the UN living immediately next door to me in Englewood, my Democratic Congressman, Steve Rothman, found his voice, issuing a three page press release about a deal he had brokered with the State Department 27 years ago for the Libyans to bizarrely remain in a New Jersey suburb. But when I asked Rothman, who is Jewish, to comment on US President Barack Obama’s degrading treatment of Israel’s elected officials recently and the administration’s opposition to Jews building in all parts of Jerusalem, his chief of staff sent me an email that said the congressman was “away for the holidays so we won’t be able to provide you with a statement.”

Attitudes like these on the part of influential Jewish members of the American establishment explain why Obama has been allowed to get away with his treatment of Israel. Yes, it is we Jews who allow it, afraid to take a stand against a president who is rapidly emerging as the new Jimmy Carter.

Don’t think Obama isn’t listening.

When it came to endorsing a recent Congressional vote to label the Turks’ slaughter of over one million Armenians during the first World War a genocide, Obama quickly broke a campaign pledge, and a moral duty, to do just that and publicly distanced himself from the term genocide in order not to offend the Turkish government. And when it came to hosting the Dalai Lama at the White House, the president quickly bowed to Chinese bullying, not only refusing to greet the great humanitarian publicly but sending him out through the service entrance of the White House where he was photographed surrounded by giant bags of garbage. But when it comes to treating America’s most reliable ally like a pariah nation, Obama has no fear of the American Jewish community because he’s convinced there will be no price to pay. The Jews are too timid to react.

HOW SAD that we Jews have become so politically pathetic. Although there were grave suspicions about Obama’s position on Israel before the campaign, greatly compounded by his having sat through 20 years of vitriol toward Israel from his own pastor, American Jewry gave Obama the benefit of the doubt. Nearly eighty percent of American Jews voted for him against a proven friend of Israel in John McCain.

But as they say, “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

Amid the Jewish propensity to blindly pull the Democrat lever in every vote without even thinking, if Obama gets anything more than twenty percent of the Jewish vote in 2012 it will be a manifestation of a community which simply doesn’t know how to stand up for itself and has contempt for its own interests….Continue Reading

A legal team of experts on civil liberties and human rights is asking a federal court in Michigan to grant a preliminary injunction preventing the implementation of the “individual mandate” in “Obamacare,” warning that if imposed, it effectively will destroy the nation.

“The term ‘nanny state’ does not even begin to describe what we will have wrought,” argues the brief filed by the Thomas More Law Center.

The organization previously filed a lawsuit on behalf of four Michigan residents who object to the government’s plan to force them to buy health-care insurance and pay for abortions – or be penalized.

The case was brought to U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, seeking a halt to the legislation.

Named as defendants in the lawsuit are President Obama, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

Now the law firm has filed a request for a preliminary injunction to prevent the imposition of the financial demands on private citizens….Continue Reading

 The state run media has been on a mission to portray the Tea Party as representative of the most vile members of society.  99.9% of thinking Americans recognize this effort as a manufactured smear campaign.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – They’ve been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values. Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement—and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation’s first black president.

“I’ve been told I hate myself. I’ve been called an Uncle Tom. I’ve been told I’m a spook at the door,” said Timothy F. Johnson, chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a group of black conservatives who support free market principles and limited government.

Black Republicans find themselves always having to prove who they are. Because the assumption is the Republican Party is for whites and the Democratic Party is for blacks,” he said.

Johnson and other black conservatives say they were drawn to the tea party movement because of what they consider its commonsense fiscal values of controlled spending, less taxes and smaller government. The fact that they’re black—or that most tea partyers are white—should have nothing to do with it, they say.

“You have to be honest and true to yourself. What am I supposed to do, vote Democratic just to be popular? Just to fit in?” asked Clifton Bazar, a 45-year-old New Jersey freelance photographer and conservative blogger.

Opponents have branded the tea party as a group of racists hiding behind economic concerns—and reports that some tea partyers were lobbing racist slurs at black congressmen during last month’s heated health care vote give them ammunition.

But these black conservatives don’t consider racism representative of the movement as a whole—or race a reason to support it.

Angela McGlowan, a black congressional candidate from Mississippi, said her tea party involvement is “not about a black or white issue.”

“It’s not even about Republican or Democrat, from my standpoint,” she told The Associated Press. “All of us are taxed too much.”

Founder and Historian David Ramsay Defines a Natural Born Citizen in 1789

In defining an Article II “natural born Citizen,” it is important to find any authority from the Founding period who may inform us how the Founders and Framers themselves defined the clause. Who else but a highly respected historian from the Founding period itself would be highly persuasive in telling us how the Founders and Framers defined a “natural born Citizen. ” Such an important person is David Ramsay, who in 1789 wrote, A Dissertation on the Manners of Acquiring the Character and Privileges of a Citizen (1789), a very important and influential essay on defining a “natural born Citizen.”

David Ramsay (April 2, 1749 to May 8, 1815) was an American physician, patriot, and historian from South Carolina and a delegate from that state to the Continental Congress in 1782-1783 and 1785-1786.  He was the Acting President of the United States in Congress Assembled. He was one of the American Revolution’s first major historians. A contemporary of Washington, Ramsay writes with the knowledge and insights one acquires only by being personally involved in the events of the Founding period. In 1785 he published History of the Revolution of South Carolina (two volumes), in 1789 History of the American Revolution (two volumes), in 1807 a Life of Washington, and in 1809 a History of South Carolina (two volumes). Ramsay “was a major intellectual figure in the early republic, known and respected in America and abroad for his medical and historical writings, especially for The History of the American Revolution (1789)…” Arthur H. Shaffer, Between Two Worlds: David Ramsay and the Politics of Slavery, J.S.Hist., Vol. L, No. 2 (May 1984). “During the progress of the Revolution, Doctor Ramsay collected materials for its history, and his great impartiality, his fine memory, and his acquaintance with many of the actors in the contest, eminently qualified him for the task….” http://www.famousamericans.net/davidramsay/. In 1965 Professor Page Smith of the University of California at Los Angeles published an extensive study of Ramsay’s History of the American Revolution in which he stressed the advantage that Ramsay had because of being involved in the events of which he wrote and the wisdom he exercised in taking advantage of this opportunity. “The generosity of mind and spirit which marks his pages, his critical sense, his balanced judgment and compassion,” Professor Smith concluded, “are gifts that were uniquely his own and that clearly entitle him to an honorable position in the front rank of American historians.”

In his 1789 article, Ramsay first explained who the “original citizens” were and then defined the “natural born citizens” as the children born in the country to citizen parents. He said concerning the children born after the declaration of independence, “[c]itizenship is the inheritance of the children of those who have taken part in the late revolution; but this is confined exclusively to the children of those who were themselves citizens….” Id. at 6. He added that “citizenship by inheritance belongs to none but the children of those Americans, who, having survived the declaration of independence, acquired that adventitious character in their own right, and transmitted it to their offspring….” Id. at 7. He continued that citizenship “as a natural right, belongs to none but those who have been born of citizens since the 4th of July, 1776….” Id. at 6.

There was always construction in east Jerusalem, yet the Arab world did not turn it into a major slogan, yet it’s happening at this time because of Obama, among other reasons. The US president also prompted Palestinian positions to get tougher in a hurry. After all, they cannot demand less than he does.

If during the Bush Administration, the Palestinians engaged in negotiations with Israel without addressing the settlements at all, while their construction continued, during Obama’s era they have demanded a freeze, then a full freeze, including Jerusalem, and now they want a complete stop.

This is turning from Palestinian-Israeli negotiations into American coercion vis-à-vis Israel, and the Palestinian demands in respect to borders and refugees will only grow now.

Without noticing it, Obama also internationalized the conflict again and brought in all the Mideast’s troublemakers as partners: The Arab League headed by the radical Amr Moussa, the Arab states’ monitoring committee, and in fact all Arab regimes, with all their animosities and disagreements.

Arab League Secretary General Moussa, a blatant Israel-hater, is now in charge of approving or rejecting Mahmoud Abbas’ moves. The Arab League is now a super-negotiator, against Israel, thereby being granted a veto power. Did Moussa speak of the Iranian nuclear threat in the recent summit meeting in Libya? The opposite was true: He recommended dialogue with Tehran, while warning of Israel’s nuclear threat.

Back in 2007, George W. Bush was, for all intents and purposes, cut off at the knees. Whatever plan he may have had for de-nuking a brutal jihadist regime were all but scuttled when  the NIE issued a fallacious report on Iran’s cessation of their nuclear program. It was a  thinly veiled attempt to change the direction on how how we were going to  handle Iran’s nukes. And it clearly succeeded.

Foreign officers at the Director on National Intelligence,  un-american, disloyal and seditious,  were not elected by the people of this great nation  but they are imposed their foreign policy agenda on this country. It was, in fact a coup on the White House. There should be no permanent diplomatic institution, even at the federal level. They’re too readily converted into bastions for America’s enemies.

It was treachery at the highest levels of government – a stall until their man seized power. Back in January of 2008, I warned of this in the Obama candidacy here.

That was an end run around the administration and easily provided the much needed out to everyone on the security council, the EU3, the Democrats and everyone that has been loathe to take any action on the development of Iran’s nuclear’s weapons.The NY Times and the left wing media   hungrily devoured the bait.

Did Barack Obama inspire one of his donors to threaten a top GOP lawmaker?

Norman Leboon, Sr, the man reported to have been arrested for making a death threat video against House Minority Whip Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Cantor’s family is listed by the Federal Elections Commission as having made two donations to the presidential campaign of Barack Obama in 2008.

According to the FEC, the donations were made on successive days in June 2008, on the 20th for $255 and on the 21st for $250. There are no other federal election campaign contributions listed for Leboon.

Just a week before Leboon made his contributions, Obama spoke in Leboon’s hometown of Philadelphia on June 13, where he urged his supporters to “bring a gun” to the political battles against their opponents:

” If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

As the mainstream media’s campaign against the tea-party movement has grown more vicious, Heidi Przybyla, a reporter for the Bloomberg news service, decides to take a different approach: (relatively) gentle mockery. “Tea Party Advocates Who Scorn Socialism Want a Government Job,” reads the headline of a dispatch she filed Friday, reporting on a new Bloomberg poll.

There’s just one problem: The headline, which Przybyla herself might or might not have written, is glaringly false. Here’s what the story actually reports:

More than 90 percent of Tea Party backers interviewed in a new Bloomberg National Poll say the U.S. is verging more toward socialism than capitalism, the federal government is trying to control too many aspects of private life and more decisions should be made at the state level.

At the same time, 70 percent of those who sympathize with the Tea Party, which organized protests this week against President Barack Obama’s health-care overhaul, want a federal government that fosters job creation.

Is it really possible that Przybyla or her editors can’t imagine ways in which the federal government could foster job creation other than by expanding the government payroll? The headline is designed to portray tea-party sympathizers as hypocrites and losers, but to anyone paying attention, it actually shows Bloomberg to be biased to the point of dishonesty.

Has the Obama Administration, against U.S. interests, declared diplomatic war on Israel? Up to now my view has been that the U.S. government didn’t want a crisis but merely sought to get indirect negotiations going between Israel and Palestinians in order to look good.

Even assuming this limited goal, the technique was to keep getting concessions from Israel without asking the PA to do or give anything has been foolish, but at least it was a generally rational strategy.

But now it has become reasonable to ask whether the Obama White House is running amuck on Israel, whether it is pushing friction so far out of proportion that it is starting to seem a vendetta based on hostility and ideology. And if that’s true, there is little Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or any Israeli leader can do to fix the problem.

A partial explanation of such behavior can be called, to borrow a phrase from the health law debate, a “single-payer option” as its Middle East strategy. That is, the administration seems to envision Israel paying for everything: supposedly to get the Palestinian Authority (PA) to talks, do away with any Islamist desire to carry out terrorism or revolution, keep Iraq quiet, make Afghanistan stable, and solve just about any other global problem.

What makes this U.S. tactic even more absurd is doing so at the very moment when it is coddling Syria and losing the battle for anything but the most minimal sanctions on Iran.

During his visit to Washington, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to defuse the tension. His partners in government, we should never forget, are Defense Minister Ehud Barak, leader of the Labour Party, and President Shimon Peres, who has done more to promote Middle East peace than any other living Israeli leader.

It doesn’t take long to find out what the truth is about a bill written by lobbyists and bureaucrats in the backrooms of the Capital.  Simply look to the world-wide financial markets.

Since the passage and signing of the Heath Care Reform Act, the yield on 10 year U.S. Treasury has shown a dramatic increase.  On Tuesday the yield was 3.65% by Thursday 3.92%.  An increase of that magnitude is very unusual in such a short time.

The much higher than forecast yield sparked an overall selling of U.S. Treasuries.  This will also have an impact of future auctions by the Treasury Department .  Per the Financial Times of London:

“The environment for debt auctions has turned negative” says Rick Klingman, managing director at BNP Parabis. “Long-term rates are rising and it is no coincidence that this has occurred after the passage of healthcare reform and the end of Fed buy-backs.

It is projected that by this summer yields on the 10 year U.S. Treasury will reach 4.5% as investors pull their money from bond funds out of fear of the debt load being incurred by the United States.

The United States Treasury at future auctions will have no choice but to pay these higher interest rates in order to sell its bond issues.  The potential 23% rise in the 10 year yield will have a devastating impact on the interest expenditures, blowing the budget deficit far higher. This is a harbinger of what is to come.

If this bill were in fact what President Obama and the Democrats sold it to be, the market reaction would have not been so negative….Continue Reading

The tax and control bill referred to as the Health Care Bill by Obama and the Democrat Congress, is clearly unconstutional on many levels. For some reason the word treason also comes to mind.

“Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of: The Affordable Health Care
Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of
expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the
proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found
was far worse than what I had heard or expected.
To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its implications is
in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media are saying. The law does
provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and
other classes of citizens are involved, free health care for illegal immigrants,
free abortion services, and probably forced participation in abortions by
members of the medical profession.
The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of business,
and put everyone into a government run system. All decisions about personal
health care will ultimately be made by federal bureaucrats, and most of them
will not be health care professionals. Hospital admissions, payments to
physicians, and allocations of necessary medical devices will be strictly
controlled by the government.
However, as scary as all of that is, it just scratches the surface. In fact, I
have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of providing
affordable health care choices. Instead it is a convenient cover for the most
massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever
occurred, or even been contemplated. If this law or a similar one is adopted,
major portions of the Constitution of the United States will effectively have
been destroyed.”

Thursday, March 25, 2010Obamacare and the Natural Born Citizen ClauseSome might wonder what does health care and the “natural born Citizen” clause have to do with each other. The answer is the survival of our Constitution and Republic by stopping the usurpation of government power.

In the context of speaking about slavery that existed during the Founding era, Obama told us that the Constitution is an “imperfect document.” It has now become apparent that the flaw that Obama sees with our governing document is much more fundamental and goes well beyond what he said related to the early slave experience. For Obama, that flaw is that the Constitution is obligatory, is a strong check on government power, and cannot be changed by just one person.We have seen Obama brazenly ignore the Constitution’s eligibility requirements for the highest and most powerful office in the land, the Office of the President and Commander in Chief of the Military. We have seen how Obama has the audacity to be President and Commander without honoring and respecting the Constitution by showing that he is at least born in Hawaii as he claims and satisfying the definition of a “natural born Citizen” as originally intended by the Framers and Founders. That is a violation of the document he swore twice to “preserve, protect and defend.”Such conduct by Obama lead many to ask if Obama does not respect and defend the Constitution and so publicly defies it once, what will stop him from doing the same a second and third time. These Americans were right in expressing such concern, for now we have Obamacare which is just another example of Obama flouting and ignoring the Constitution.Now he wants to force upon the nation a health care system under the guise that the Federal Government can do so because that system does nothing more than regulate interstate commerce. Additionally, he wants to accomplish his plan without even adhering to legitimate legislative process. How he can honestly believe that a person who does not buy a good or service (such as health insurance) or who the government compels to do so under the threat of a camouflaged income tax is engaged in interstate commerce or gives the government the right to interfere in such personal decisions based on some other constitutional provision defies reason and common sense. Treating people’s refusal to buy health insurance as interstate commerce or triggering some other constitutional governmental power would in effect give Congress unlimited authority to control every aspect of people’s lives. When something defies logic, we have to ask ourselves what is the real motive involved. Upon close circumspection we can see that Obama’s health care plan is nothing more than the government taking more money from productive members of society and giving it to those who need money but do not have it for various reasons, with the central government in the process usurping great powers and control over the people’s lives including but not limited to violating their privacy rights over their own bodies, their medical and financial privacy, their right to decide how much medical care one needs, their right to free speech and association, their right to exercise their religion, doctors’ right to earn a living as they see fit, their right not to be illegally taxed, and their right to make end-of-life decisions. This is nothing but Obama and his Congress declaring a socialist revolution upon the American people and attempting to sneak that revolution right by them by dressing the wolf in sheep’s clothing.There exists proof in the form of Obama’s own words that his health insurance plan is nothing more than a redistribution of wealth which the government has no power to do under our Constitution. Obama made some appearances as a guest on Odyssey, a talk show at Chicago Public Radio. Obama, then a State Senator and Senior Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, was on the program 3 times between 1998 and 2002. Obama is Eligible to Serve and ‘Birthers’ are Vindicated? 

Two days ago I read an American Thinker article that challenged my current thinking. The result – I may have to acknowledge the possibility that Obama is a ‘natural born citizen’ and therefore eligible to serve as President.  If either possibility presented in the article proves true and a few loose ends are tied up concerning Obama’s mother, I will be forced to stop referring to Obama as Obama and begin referring to him as President Obama.  Time will tell if ‘facts’ come out that beckon such a change.  Jack Cashill’s presentation is very compelling, but will journalists and historians use their gravitas to drive the final nails in the eligibility issue coffin?

I do so want to turn away from the eligibility issue temporarily and focus on the cliff Obama is taking America over. Did you see that a majority of Democrats have a favorable view of Socialism?  That’s going to be a main focus of the 2010 battle for Independents because spending, taxing, personal responsibility, voter dependency, federal debt, job creation, technological innovation and the role of government are all intimately intertwined with it. The reality is that November is fast approaching and every effort needs to be made to stop Obama’s socialist objectives.

But, because Presidential eligibility is such a bedrock issue, it’s almost impossible for those of us who care deeply about the Constitution and the rule of law to turn away based solely upon political calculations.  Something has to be added to the calculation to tip the scales. If real journalists could find documentation verifying Mr. Cashill’s suppositions, I’m sure most of us challenging Obama’s eligibility would fall away satisfied because there would in fact be a there there.

As much as it has been denied and misconstrued, determining the ‘truth’ has always been the objective regarding the ‘eligibility’ question for the vast majority of those trying to look behind the Obama curtain.  The media can name call and ridicule each and every one who has questioned Obama’s eligibility to serve as President. (‘We’ certainly didn’t choose the moniker ‘birther’.) They can maliciously imply that each and every question we raise involves some race-based angst or worse. They can manipulate public opinion. They can even shape the public’s understanding of the Constitutional requirements for the Presidency. It’s not right, it’s not true, it’s not journalism – but they can do it.  What they can’t do is rewrite history to say there wasn’t (isn’t) a ‘there, there’ regarding Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United States.  What exactly the ‘there’ is hasn’t been discovered.  Obama knows – but he’s not cooperating.

Let’s be honest, don’t you think objective legal historians/researchers looking at the facts, the circumstantial evidence, the testimony of his grandmother, the news reports from years earlier, the actions of Obama (withholding documents from the public, spending vast sums in legal fees, etc.), the ‘founders’ understanding of the term ‘natural born citizen’, the reasons for the Constitutional provision, the actual limitations of what can be proven from Obama’s online ‘Hawaiian birth certificate’, the lack of on point court decisions talking about the term ‘natural born citizen’, the differences in meanings for the terms ‘citizen’ and ‘natural born citizen’, etc., etc. – would realize that it’s almost a certainty that legitimate issues of some type exist?  It may take historians many years to acquire the documentation that will vindicate the ‘birthers’.  But rest assured, this issue is important enough that some historian will continue to pay attention.  I wonder if a book is being out-lined at this very moment, maybe a few law review articles?

But seriously, looking at the big picture, is the status quo really the best situation for Obama?

Everyone knows that there’s a huge secret being kept. You know it. I know it. Orly Taitz knows it. Larry Sinclair knows it. Ahmadinejad knows it. Netanyahu knows it. Hu Jintao knows it. It’s like your driving on the interstate; you see a car pulled over with a police car on its bumper, lights flashing. As you drive past, you see one passenger toss something in the bushes when the State Trooper approaches the driver.  You don’t know exactly what’s up but you know something is.

Right now the situation is that a substantial number of Americans cannot ethically recognize Obama as President. How can that be good for America? How can that be good for the military?  Given that Obama has done nothing except post a document of limited evidentiary value online, how can anyone expect the concerns of Americans to be allayed? 

The reason Obama is fighting this so hard, spending so much, is because he knows the outcome is a crapshoot.  Taking the facts in a light most favorable to Obama, it still requires the judge(s) to find that Obama was born in Hawaii and that the meaning of the term ‘natural born citizen’ is either American citizenship equals ‘natural born citizenship’ or being a ‘natural born citizen’ requires only one of Obama’s parents to be an American citizen by birth or naturalization at the time of Obama’s birth.

Such an interpretation by the courts would necessarily require activist judges who believe that the Constitution is a living breathing document that changes with the times. Fortunately, the American justice system is not there yet because that would make the Constitution subject to the political whims of judges and politicians. Nevertheless, if such a decision did occur most Americans would live with the result. 

Additionally, such a decision outcome would vindicate the ‘birthers’ because the Constitution had to be stretched beyond its original meaning and that would be the ‘there’.  It would give Obama what he wants.  But, it would be the crapshoot of his life!

The other factual possibility that could establish Obama as a ‘natural born citizen’ brings us back to the American Thinker article – the existence of a secret so big that it jumps right over the inconvenient problems arising from the citizenship of Barack Obama, Sr.

The nice thing about this possibility is that (for me) it explains a lot if true and it vindicates the ‘birthers’.  And to top it off, it follows the principle of Occam’s razor.

… When competing hypotheses are equal in other respects, the principle recommends selection of the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions and postulates the fewest entities while still sufficiently answering the question.…

It acknowledges the common sense desire a parent would have to make sure baby Obama has American citizenship and family legitimacy. It also recognizes that a parent would not have been worried about making sure Obama was a ‘natural born citizen’ because it is not realistic to think that a particular child will grow up to be President.

It makes it possible to imagine how and why the CIA and FBI appear to be covering for Obama.

It partly explains why Hillary Clinton, John McCain and the Republican Party didn’t raise the issue. What politician would risk raising such a possibility without absolute proof? (Gov. Jindal’s situation may have factored in for Republicans and for far left Democrats- effectively eviscerating one more parts of the Constitution is a progressive’s dream.)

It exposes how judges might have been persuaded to do a kabuki dance to avoid getting to the merits of eligibility cases and being forced to make the choice of wrongly expanding the meaning of ‘natural born citizen’ to avoid rioting in the streets or expose a huge secret.

It also partly explains why Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Hannity are being so reluctant to fully address the issue.  However, if the possibility of an election-changing secret is true and Glenn Beck did not reveal it, did Mr. Beck aid the Progressives in gutting the meaning and force of Article 1, Section II of the Constitution?

It explains why the media is going so far out of their way to misdirect and vilify those asking questions. (Not they needed a lot of arm-twisting to go – given their coverage of John Edward’s affair/love child and Larry Sinclair’s allegations of cocaine use and sex with Obama in 1999.)

And finally, it vindicates the much-maligned ‘birthers’ because there is a there there.  Either Obama is not a ‘natural born citizen’ and is not eligible to serve as President or Obama is a ‘natural born citizen’ and every other part of his life is a ‘natural born lie’/deception.  (As more and more Americans are discovering.)

Regardless of outcome, ‘birthers’ will be vindicated. 

Notwithstanding ‘birther’ vindication, it remains essential that we know the truth because though the actions and non-actions of the media, courts, talk-radio, and politicians – Article I, Section II of the Constitution has been weakened (eviscerated) for future elections unless individual States require Presidential Candidates to present proof of theirs and their parents’ citizenship.

Sorry, I haven’t given specific details about the American Thinker article’s revelations. To briefly mention the actual details doesn’t do justice, given that Jack Cashill has done such a nice job of laying it out.  It’s a must read.

I think the next phase has to be turning to State Legislatures to require proof of eligibility. Such legislation may stop Obama from attempting another run for which he may well not be eligible and protect Article II, Section 1.

Stress the need for 3 birth certificates. One from the candidate and 2 from parents (or proof of naturalization)! Candidate’s parents have to have been US citizens at the time of his or her birth.

It appears that the Department of Justice may be visiting Larry Sinclair’s site!  Hopefully they will learn something about Obama!  However, if they have some more nefarious purpose such as charging Larry with something related to a sitting President, it seems to me that Mr. Sinclair might want to explore using Quo Warranto in conjunction with his defense.  Maybe Larry should contact Leo Donofrio and Stephen Pidgeon given their experience with the ‘natural born citizen’ provision of the Constitution.
