Constantly Ignored by Congress, Americans Left Little Choice but to Shut Washington, D.C. Down!

Constantly Ignored by Congress, Americans Left Little Choice but to Shut Washington, D.C. Down!

(I would like to suggest a date – the day of the 2010 State of the Union Address)

Today I was listening to Rush Limbaugh’s radio program when one of his listeners shared an interesting idea that got my attention.  The listener was a small business owner, 30 years in business, who was fed up with Congress not listening to the wishes of the American People.  He was calling for all small business owners to fire half of their employees (for a few weeks?) and the resulting loss of tax withholdings and concurrent demands for unemployment benefits, food stamps, etc. by the fired workers would overwhelm the system.

Rush immediately recognized that this idea was actually the same idea that Obama and the left are employing, the Cloward-Piven strategy

…”The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their goal is to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change….”

It is an interesting concept of turning a wholly leftist/fascist strategy for radical change back on the instigators.  Naturally, the caller understood that his idea would involve substantial “short-term pain for long-term gain” and would require a lot of employers taking part to be effective.

What’s obvious is that Rush’s caller was basically expressing the extreme frustration that millions of Americans are feeling right now. How can ordinary citizens get the attention of Congress when they are taking the phone off the hook and locking their doors?

Even though it’s probably not ripe today, the Rush caller idea is simple, powerful, and definitely would get Washington and the media’s attention.  However, I believe the pain to the “innocent” temporarily unemployed would be too much.  It might be something to try next year during hunting season for hunters looking for some time to hunt and draw a check; or when school’s out for summer so they can go on family vacation.  By summer, prior to the 2010 elections, both the to be laid off employees and millions of stressed employers could be eager to take part in such an act of political disobedience.  I’m ready now but later might be better.

So what can be done now to get the attention of Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Congress?  What if for the days before and the night of the next Presidential State of the Union at the end of January another “Tea Party”/strike is organized to descend on Washington, D. C.?  Trucks, RV’s, Cars, Motorcycles, Bikes, Strollers, Wheel Chairs, Veterans, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, 9/11 Families, Navy Seals’ families, College Students, High School Students, Elementary School Students, Lawyers, Judges, former AARP members, Ordinary Americans carrying bull-horns, cowbells, bag pipes, drums, and every other manner of noise making device imaginable coming to Congress to be HEARD!  Wow!

Maybe, everyone could ask his or her Congressional Representative to boycott the 2010 State of the Union Address. (Are you there Representatives Bachmann and Wilson?)

Even though previous D.C. Tea Party demonstrations have had over a million participants, the media have found ways to ignore/ridicule/minimize them.  What if 2 or 3 million Americans came to Congress to be heard – could the media ignore that?  I don’t think so!  What if the sound could be heard when Obama begins spinning his lies and misrepresentations – could the media ignore that?  I don’t think so!  What if traffic is tied up for days – could the media ignore that? I don’t think so!

Americans are upset and frustrated because they are not being listened to by Obama or the Congress.  If fact even Blue Dog Democrats are frustrated.  The level of frustration must be extremely high to cause a Freshman Democratic Representative from Alabama, Parker Griffith, to switch parties today.

Why are they so upset and frustrated?  Let me count the ways:

Obama and Eric Holder are planning to have 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s trial in NYC!  Polls show that 59% of Americans are opposed to this travesty.  Congress has power to prevent it but again they choose not to listen the American people.

Obama is closing GITMO and bringing the terrorists to Illinois (within 20 miles of a nuclear power plant).  When you ask Americans you find that 64% are opposed to bringing GITMO terrorists to America.  Is Obama or Congress listening? No.

Three Navy Seals are being prosecuted for allegedly giving Islamic terrorist, Ahmed Hashim Abed, a fat lip during his capture.  Abed was the mastermind of the brutal attack in Falluja in 2004 where 4 Blackwater security contractors were hung on a bridge and burned.  Where is Obama and Congress?  AWOL.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff are ignoring the very real possibility that Obama is not a “natural born citizen” and is therefore not eligible to serve as President or Commander in Chief.  Are they listening? No.  Is Congress listening? No.  All that is happening is that Obama has/is spending over 2 million dollars trying to keep his school records, long form birth certificate, bar application, college papers, etc. hidden.

Americans opposed to Obamacare are being ignored by Congress. The latest Quinnipiac poll show that “53 percent of voters disapprove of plans to make over the health-care system, with 36 percent in support.” Will Congress listen? No.

Shockingly, Reid and Pelosi’s Democrats are putting measures in the Healthcare legislation that tries to make parts of it not subject to repeal.  How’s that for Congress not listening!

No matter what you believe about abortion, the vast majority of Americans (72%) recognize that it is wrong to force taxpayer who believe abortion is wrong to fund abortions.  Will Congress listen? No.

The majority of American small business owners (66 against/24 for) and the public (53 against/37 for) are against Cap and Trade legislation. Is the Congress listening? No.

Americans, who keep their own budgets balanced, expect Obama and Congress to keep America’s budgets balanced!  Do they listen? No.

And there’s Inspector General Walpin’s firing, Obama bowing to every world leader he can find, Obama photo ops with our returning war dead, ACORN, SEIU, Larry Sinclair, attacks of FOX, Obama’s boot licking media, Cambridge Police “acted stupid”, coming attacks on the Second Amendment, not showing proper respect when our soldiers were slaughtered by a terrorist at Ft. Hood, etc., etc., etc.  It never ends.

Americans have been trying hard to have their voices heard vis-à-vis Tea Parties nationwide.  Were they heard? No.  They were ridiculed and vilified by Obama, Gibbs, Pelosi, many Members of Congress and the mainstream media.

Everyday, more Americans are waking up.

It is time to start saying ENOUGH a little more loudly.

Media Bias Regarding Navy Seals Accusations – CBS and FOX – Climategate – Mr. Wolf – Hot Air – CDR Kerchner Ad Explaining “Natural Born Citizen” – CitizenWells – The BOPAC Report

December 1, 2009

The BOPAC Report:

“Natural Born Citizen”≠ “Citizen” –

Just like Obama is not Malcolm X - Obama is not a "Natural Born Citizen"! Obama may look like Malcolm X and Obama may be a "Citizen"; but being a "Citizen" does not necessarily mean that Obama is a "Natural Born Citizen"!

Passing on an advertisment that CitizenWells was asked to pass along!  CDR Kerchner – thank you for your service to America and her Constitution.

“This pointed and hard-hitting ad is running today in the Washington Times National Weekly addition as a full page on page 9.  Would you give it some note in your blog and do a post on it.  We need to get the word out as to who is allowing Obama to “sit on the fence post” he is sitting on.  Who put him up there and who is keeping him there.  This ad does it very well.  A picture says a thousand words.

Ad link to it at

PDF copy attached too.

Your blog is very well read.  And with you challenging the Congress people to debates, this ad ties in with that.  It show them hiding their eyes and not wanting to look into this matter and hope it will go away.  It will not.

We need all the help we can get to get the word out as to who is blocking progress in addressing the Constitutional Crisis of the Usurper in the Oval Office. Thanks in advance.

Wheels of Fire

[ Enviro-nitwits ]

I love beginning posts with personal anecdotes, which you can deduce from the fact that I never do it. No time like the present to start!

One week in high school, my all-time second-favorite social studies teacher, Lyle Thornton Wolf, presented us with a fascinating unit:

On Monday, he passed out forty-eight distinct high-school and college level American history textbooks (there being 48 students in the class). Each of us got a different textbook, though some were merely later versions of an earlier text that somebody else had. Each of us took his book home with instructions to read and “brief” (like a lawyer would) the factual events — not interpretations or speculations — recounted in his book about the Boston Massacre.

Then on Wednesday, Mr. Wolf began going through the incident, student by student, making a “comparison table” on the blackboard using every important fact from each book… e.g., the number of colonists killed by the redcoats, the number wounded, how many lobster-backs and Yankee doodles were present, what provocation (if any) did the colonists give to the soldiers, how long the shooting lasted, who was the first shot, and so forth.

As a court trial followed the shootings, and that trial took eyewitness and forensic evidence (future President John Adams defended the soldiers), one would expect nearly all the facts to be reported the same way in every textbook. Not so; there was significant variation in the details taught to students about that infamous eruption of anti-democratic violence.

But Mr. Wolf didn’t stop there, and this was his genius; he was more interested in teaching us good researching skills than specific numbers of people killed in the Boston Massacre. Thus he also made each of us read the footnotes, endnotes, and any other errata indicating the source of the supposed facts reported in his assigned book; he then put up a posterboard list of all the textbook titles arranged like a matrix.

As we reported the sources for each book, Mr. Wolf drew an arrow from the source to the book that cited it. After about ten books, we quickly realized that not a single one of the 48 textbooks cited any primary document or original source material; each cited only other high-school or college textbooks. In fact, only a couple of them cited texts not already in our hands (both times older editions of books we did have).

Worse, the entire set of citations was a snarl of textbook “daisy chains”: Textbook A (let’s say it was the 1962 edition) would have an arrow pointing to B (1964); B pointed to C (1965), which pointed to D (1968)… but D then pointed to a later version of textbook A, say the 1970 edition.

In other words, there was no “ultimate source”: The books just referenced and reinforced each other.

Thus it was hardly a surprise that, variations aside, all the books agreed on the core issues: The colonists were disorderly but didn’t provoke the shooting; no colonist used a firearm; the British were almost entirely to blame; and they only got off because of the eloquence of Adams. The issue was closed; no need to rethink any basic premise. After all, if that interpretation of the data wasn’t perfectly true, what are the odds that all those textbooks would just happen to agree with each other?

On Saturday, as Climategate really began to heat up, the princes of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) started to get their backs up. They were driven to agree, at long last, to release the raw data behind their predictions… or as much of it remained after they deliberately destroyed most of it in the 1980s.

Faced with the charge that the data they destroyed could have shown that globaloney theory was built on sand (and fabricated sand at that), one of the university’s vice chancellors concocted a novel counterargument:

Professor Trevor Davies, the university’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research Enterprise and Engagement, said yesterday: “CRU’s full data will be published in the interests of research transparency when we have the necessary agreements. It is worth reiterating that our conclusions correlate well to those of other scientists based on the separate data sets held by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies.”

Like a speech by Barack H. Obama’s teleprompter, it sounds good out of the corner of your ear; but in reality, this argument is a complete non-sequitur. And the inability of Professor Davies to apprehend his own paralogia speaks volumes about the real failure of the anthropogenic global climate-change (AGCC) cabal….Continue Reading

Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist

Monday , November 30, 2009

By Rowan Scarborough

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told

The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called a captain’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers….Continue Reading

I do admit that the FOX headline is a bit misleading but the CBS headline has the Navy Seals convicted.  The moral is no one should read only the headlines!

Serenity Prayers for Sen. Obama, The Media, & Larry Sinclair

July 8, 2008

Suggested Prayers From a Concerned Citizen

Obama’s Prayer

Lord grant Senator Obama the serenity to accept his embrace of the controversial people from his past and the things he’s done that convey culpability from his past for which he has tried so hard to hide or brush aside;

The courage to take responsibility for the implicit approval all such people and their ideas, as was demonstrated through the affirmative step of seeking to create relationships which would stand the test of time and for such acts, if true, upon review by any reasonable person would impart a sense of criminal conduct;

And the wisdom to know the difference between owning up and covering up.

Larry Sinclair’s Prayer

Lord grant Larry Sinclair the serenity to accept his past culpable behavior and his stated objective to present his story to the American public so that the every person will have complete information concerning his allegations against Senator Obama, and then leaving it to each person to decide what and who they choose to believe;

The courage to tell the complete truth, whatever it may be, including those things that raise questions concerning Mr. Sinclair’s own credibility, the courage to withstand the vicious attacks that he and his family have already endured and surely will continue to endure, especially if the Media and Senator Obama can prove the allegations that Mr. Sinclair and the Senator engaged in the use of crack cocaine and gay sex in 1999 are not true;

And the wisdom to know when all of this ceases to be worth the pain and torture which he and his family have been put through to date – and probably will be put through in the weeks and months to come.

The Main Stream Media’s Prayer

Lord grant the Media the serenity to accept their bias that has permeated their reporting during this election and their susceptibility to pressure from the networks, leftist political forces and politicians that have caused them not to report legitimate issues or to report such issues in a light most favorable to said politicians and networks;

The courage to overcome and publicly admit their bias and susceptibilities to political pressures to the public; and to, from this point forward to live up to their responsibilities to investigate and hold all politicians accountable for their past culpable actions and past relationships that might impact each and every politician’s credibility, reliability, honesty, capability, and suitability for the Office of the Presidency in a fair and objective manner;

And the wisdom to know the difference between “Investigative Journalism” and “Sucking Hind Tit” in regards to the Truth and their professional responsibilities.

From me, I hope each of you say your prayers tonight.

Will Our Children Be Able To Trust What “History” Says About Senator Obama?

July 6, 2008

Will Our Children Be Able

To Trust

What “History” Says

About Senator Obama?

(If It Draws From Our Media’s Representations of His Life,

How Can Any “History” be Trusted?)

If History comes from the tales of a love sick school girl (or boy), is it safe to say that we should question the portrayal? If History comes from a news commentator, who gets a tingle running up his leg when he hears Sen. Obama speak, should we question his portrayal? I hope so. If 90% of the media seems to be looking at Sen. Obama’s life through rose colored glasses, will History be likely to paint an accurate depiction of today’s reality?

We each have to answer that question.

This is such an important election, ground breaking to be sure. Surely we all want information and assertions that could legitimately impact a voter’s decision making process to be presented in a fair and impartial manner.

Doesn’t that include those stories and allegations that are trying to break through to the public’s awareness, that circulate on the internet, which have more than a remote possibility of being true?

Isn’t it the duty of the press to investigate thoroughly and report their findings as to the allegations validity?

Isn’t it?

Have we ever been able to trust History? Or is the realm of this mistrust confined to today because of the glaring failings of our media to do their jobs?

Larry Sinclair’s allegations that he and Sen. Obama used crack cocaine and engaged in gay sex falls within the purview of an allegation that has more than a remote possibility of being true. Especially, when one considers how many people Sen. Obama has thrown under the bus and explained it as (he, she, it) was not the person I knew.

Martin Luther King, Jr., a man I admire greatly, once said:

We are not makers of history. We are made by history.

And therefore, I have to ask this question:

What if the History we are made by is not accurate?

What if that inaccuracy is due to the media’s own diminution of their role because they agree with Vladimir Lenin.

Sometimes – history needs a push.

Scary, don’t you think?

Obama’s Callous Indifference

This is from The American Thinker

June 30, 2008

By Peter Kirsanow

Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen declares that Barack Obama is ” ‘likable enough’ — in fact, so much so that he is the most charismatic presidential candidate I have seen since Robert F.Kennedy.” Well, even though I’ve never spoken with Obama, I don’t like him very much (I did testify with him [and a few others] once about a bill he’d sponsored on voter intimidation, but at the time he didn’t impress me as unlikable, just a little intellectually lazy) .
This hasn’t always been the case. Until early February, I tended to agree with all the news stories that contained the obligatory man-in-the-street quotes proclaiming him “decent,” “likeable” and a “nice guy with a beautiful family.” …
Wait a minute. Aren’t we constantly regaled about all of his endearing qualities? He makes people faint and write songs about him. Hardened journalists get tingles up their legs just thinking about him.
Yet certain discrete actions can provide instant insights into a person’s character. They can betray vivid flaws in a seemingly gleaming persona.
And they compel one to make judgments about the actor.
The acts may vary by degree, in turn prompting different degrees of reaction: the pillar of the community seen pilfering from the collection plate; the co-worker who uses a racial epithet behind a colleague’s back. Indeed, people recoiled from the once popular Michael Vick when they found out he’d abused dogs.
I began to dislike Obama when I discovered that while in the Illinois state legislature in 2002, he voted against the Induced Birth Infant Liability Act. The bill was designed to extend the same medical care to babies who happen to survive an abortion attempt as is enjoyed by all babies born alive.
I couldn’t believe anyone would vote against such a bill. In fact, when a similar measure– the Born Alive Infant Protection Act– was brought before the U.S. Senate, not one Senator voted against it. Even NARAL Pro-Choice America didn’t oppose the bill.
Admittedly, I’m a bit of a curmudgeon. It’s difficult for me to like someone who’s eager to extend a panoply of constitutional rights to terrorists but who refuses to provide the most fundamental rights to a living, breathing infant.
Perhaps it’s a failure to comprehend Obama’s exquisite intellectual nuance. He rationalized his vote in language that evokes Dred Scott. Obama challenged the constitutionality of the bill, contending that conferring equal protection, i.e.,personhood, upon a “pre-viable fetus” would render the bill an unlawful anti-abortion statute.
At what point after birth does Obama call a baby a person and not a fetus? One day? Six months?
To be clear: I don’t hate Obama as those suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome hate President Bush. I just have a hard time generating warm, fuzzy feelings for someone who voted against helping newborns struggling to live. But that’s just me.
I suspect most people don’t know about Obama’s position on babies who survive abortion attempts and it’s unlikely that they’ll ever find out. The media seem more interested in reporting on the cultural implications of fist-bumps or the racial animus of those who question Obama’s policies. I would wager, however, that if more people knew about Obama’s disregard for babies who have the audacity to survive an abortion, there would be more scrutiny and less adulation.

A Step Towards Respect of Our Laws and The Social Mores by Legalizing Drugs

June 29, 2008

June 29, 2008 by zachjonesishome

(An Approach to Change That Might Lessen Our Tax Burden)

By ZachJonesIsHome

Have you ever asked the question, “Why do so many people bend, break, and/or ignore the law?” I have – and I think it comes down to a pervasive belief (on some level) that many of our laws are not reasonably related to the protection of our society. Many of our laws are intended to restrict decision-making that should be strictly personal in nature. The law caudles us, treats us like children – without the experience to make informed decisions. Instead of developing only laws that address conduct that has the potential of harming others in our society, we develop laws that tell the individual adult that he or she cannot consider a decision they are facing, together with its possible consequences and then choose to live with those consequences.

As stated by George Orwell, On the whole, human beings want to be good, but not too good, and not quite all the time.”

As a result, the consequences (if you will) are that many adults will decide to do the thing they are considering (even if it is illegal) and take the risk. And from that very act, one loses a certain degree of respect for the sanctity of all laws and may become more likely to shrug their shoulders when they see someone else violating some other law(s) that could be construed as an unreasonable infringement on free choice. The individual might also feel the need to cover up his/her indiscretion. (Maybe by lying on applications to licensing boards, lying on tax returns, doing favors of position to others to attempt to cover up, lying to the courts, etc.) Furthermore, it could be argued that it would then become against that person’s best interest to voluntarily help the police by providing information to them regarding other matters – the danger being that if they get involved one might draw more attention than they want. That’s too bad, since the police have historically relied on that type of assistance in its effort to combat crime. And it is always important to remember that children are watching parents violate the law and will learn that they too should be able to pick and choose which laws they are willing to follow….

In conclusion, it is the sanctity of the system of laws that is at issue here. That system can only be respected if it is clearly, rationally related to trying to protect us from harm from others. However, it fails when the system attempts to usurp decisions from us that are clearly ours to make.

So therefore Senator Obama, you can come clean to me about the allegations of your use of illicit drugs and having gay sex with Larry Sinclair in 1999. Just do it. And where is the American media in this? AWOL. Cowards!
