The Official Un-Cut Version of Larry Sinclair’s National Press Club Presentation Video Is Located Here: http://www.larrysinclair.org/press.html
In this video Mr. Sinclair describes his allegations of drug and sexual encounters in 1999 with Sen. Obama. He presents enough information (names, phone numbers, dates, times, etc.) to allow the press to pursue their investigations into Presidential candidate Obama’s role regarding these allegations.
Mr. Sinclair gives enough information, in enough detail, to allow the hard questions to be asked of the Senator. He implies that he has more relevant information for the press should they desire it from him. Evidently, he has been advised not to disclose all that he has at this time.
Will the Press, Investigative Reporters, the Media, do their jobs and undertake their responsibilities to investigate the backgrounds of All canidates? Or will they merely continue to investigate the backgrounds of only those who stand as obstacles to Sen. Obama’s bid to become President of the United States of America?
Will the Senator step to the plate and disprove these allegations? This has always been the easiest and most certain avenue for total resolution of these issues. Can Michelle Obama give insight/proof about the whereabouts and actions of the Barrack Obama of 1999?
Can Sen. Obama show that he was not available to Mr. Sinclair during the times and dates in question? To date, I believe he has said that he did not keep records of his whereabouts at that time. A Harvard educated lawyer and a State Senator from Illinois does not keep records? Hmmm. A man who sat in the pews of Rev. Wright’s church for 20 years and denied that he was aware of his hateful views? Hmmm. A man who has disavowed his many of his past relationships with former friends and spiritual advisors because they are not the “fill in the blank” person that I knew back then? Hmmmm. Will Senator Obama’s response be that “The 1999 Illinois Sen. Obama is not the man I knew in back then.”
That’s the issue. Does the electorate of this country really know the Sen. Obama of 1999? I don’t think so. The journalists of today, if there are any, need to inform all of us. I ask myself, when it comes to the issue of credibility: “Given what we know of Sen. Obama’s current denials and excuses of his past associations, who really is the more credible witness, Sen. Obama or Mr. Larry Sinclair?” Honestly, I don’t know the answer to that question. Will the media find out? Please, do your jobs. We all can see through your bias at this point and time.
I used to think to believe that Truth was the goal of the media. It is painfully obvious that in 2008 this is not the case. Unfortunately, that responsibility has fallen upon ill equipped internet blogs and concerned citizens. How ridiculous is that! People with limited access, varied motives, very limited resources trying to give the American people information. Sometimes the information is correct and sometimes it is partially correct. Sometimes the information is mostly lies and manipulations, sometimes it is well intentioned. But until the Media steps up and does its job, it is All that we have and the responsibility for errors lie with the Main Stream Media.
