CNN Sucks: Climategate Never Happened

By Paul Chesser on 11.23.09 @ 2:45PM

The last place cable news network is following the same tack it took on the ACORN scandal, which is, ignore the story that is not only overturning the cart and its apples, but is also crushing them into a pulp fit for a Mott’s jar. Climategate was absent from CNN Sucks‘ weekend discussions (at least as far as the transcripts identify), and now this morning on its home page the network highlights a report on catastrophic sea level rise predictions from children of the same discredited bunch!

 Keep ClimateGate Story Going –

Carrying Obama's Water While Drowning the Truth! Climategate!

From The Wall Street Journal –

NOVEMBER 24, 2009, 6:58 A.M. ET

Climate Science and Candor Editor’s note: The following are emails we’ve selected from more than 3,000 emails and documents that were hacked last week from computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit in the United Kingdom. The CRU is the data repository for much of the world’s climate research and is a major source for the judgments reached by the U.N.’s climate reports. A nearby editorial (“Global Warming With the Lid Off“) puts the emails in their political and scientific context, but readers may want to browse for themselves to get a flavor of the thinking of scientists who are the leading advocates for the belief that global warming is man-made and that nations must re-order the world economy to stop it. We’ve removed the email addresses and phone numbers, and we’ve inserted paragraph breaks in some places. The emails are otherwise unedited. The ellipses are the authors’ own.

On freedom of information rules and deleting files:

From: Phil Jones

To: “Michael E. Mann”

Subject: IPCC & FOI

Date: Thu May 29 11:04:11 2008

Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis. Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar to do likewise.

I see that CA claim they discovered the 1945 problem in the Nature paper!!

Climategate: the final nail in the coffin of ‘Anthropogenic Global Warming’?

By James Delingpole Politics Last updated: November 20th, 2009

If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)

When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:

Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.

One of the alleged emails has a gentle gloat over the death in 2004 of John L Daly (one of the first climate change sceptics, founder of the Still Waiting For Greenhouse site), commenting:

“In an odd way this is cheering news.”

But perhaps the most damaging revelations  – the scientific equivalent of the Telegraph’s MPs’ expenses scandal – are those concerning the way Warmist scientists may variously have manipulated or suppressed evidence in order to support their cause….Continue Reading

 Tea Party –

Tea Party - Supporting Those of Any Party Who Support The Constitution, Limited Government, Responsible Fiscal Policy, Lower Taxes, and Free Markets

Interesting Stat from Rasmussen via  I would bet people who are Tea Party goers would have an even lower unemployment rate because they seem more interested balancing budgets; and part of that equation is working, going to work, working hard, & putting down the remote to looking harder for work, any work.  I would also suspect that Tea Party attendees realize that 99% of the time it is important to consider the business health of their employers and act accordingly.

20/11/2009 15:13

The FINANCIAL — Data from Rasmussen Reports national telephone surveys shows that 15.0% of Democrats in the workforce are currently unemployed and looking for a job.

Among adults not affiliated with either major party, that number is 15.6% while just 9.9% of Republicans are in the same situation….Continue Reading

Important Warning from

2010 Census

2010 Census to Begin

WARNING: 2010 Census Cautions from the Better Business Bureau

Be Cautious About Giving Info to Census Workers by Susan Johnson

With the  U.S.  Census process beginning, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) advises people to be cooperative, but cautious, so as not to become a victim of fraud or identity theft. The first phase of the 2010  U.S. Census is under way as workers have begun verifying the addresses of households across the country. Eventually, more than 140,000  U.S.  Census workers will count every person in the  United States  and will gather information about every person living at each address including name, age, gender, race, and other relevant data.

The big question is: how do you tell the difference between a  U.S.  Census worker and a con artist? BBB offers the following advice:

If a  U.S.  Census worker knocks on your door, they will have a badge, a handheld device, a Census Bureau canvas bag, and a confidentiality notice. Ask to see their identification and their badge before answering their questions. However, you should NEVER invite anyone you don’t know into your home..

Census workers are currently only knocking on doors to verify address information. Do not give your Social Security number, credit card or banking information to anyone, even if they claim they need it for the  U.S.  Census.

While the Census Bureau might ask for basic financial information, such as a salary   range, YOU DON’T HAVE TO ANSWER ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION. The Census Bureau will not ask for Social Security, bank account, or credit card numbers, nor will employees solicit donations. Any one asking for that information is NOT with the Census Bureau.

AND REMEMBER, THE CENSUS BUREAU HAS DECIDED NOT TO WORK WITH ACORN ON GATHERING THIS INFORMATION. No Acorn worker should approach you saying he/she is with the Census Bureau.

Eventually, Census workers may contact you by telephone, mail or in person at home. However, the Census Bureau will not contact you by Email, so be on the lookout for Email scams impersonating t he Census.

Never click on a link or open any attachments in an Email that are supposedly from the  U.S.  Census Bureau.
