Rep. Trent Franks May Bring Eligibility Suit – WND and CitizenWells – Admiral Mullens’ Afghanistan Doubts – Tom Daschle Corruption Chapter – Michelle Malkin – The BOPAC Report

The BOPAC Report:

ChiBama Politics & Eligibility –

If Obama is Not Eligible to Serve, He Cannot Issue "Lawful Orders"

If Obama is Not Eligible to Serve, He Cannot Issue "Lawful Orders"

I wonder when General Petraeus will realize that the doubts about the eligibility of Obama to serve as Commander-In-Chief are on the rise? How can we expect our brave military to be fully committed to any mission ordered by Obama, the Deceiver-In-Chief (DIC)? The issue is not going away and must be dealt with if we are to be confident that our military that is fully committed to victory in Afghanistan and/or Iraq.  Without commitment to victory, there will be no victory. I blame Obama for his callousness in not quickly disposing of this issue by providing the documents requested in the scores of lawsuits that have challenged his eligibility.  I blame the Democratic leadership for being complicit in Obama’s secretive conduct.  I blame the media for not demanding adequate proof of eligibility.  The military deserves such proof. Obama, the Democratic leadership and the media have put our military in the untenable position of following orders that have a very real possibility of being “unlawful”.

It’s fairly certain that most in the military are completely aware that the Obama Administration and the Democratic leadership in the House and Senate could give a shit if America wins in either Iraq or Afghanistan.  Add to this lack of support, the legitimate concerns about Obama’s lack of eligibilty to serve as President; and the U. S.  military has the final ingredient needed to break the back of its morale.  I was in the military during President Carter’s term when morale dropped through the floor and it is not acceptable.  I am completely confident that the  Taliban cannot defeat the United States Military; but lack of support, respect and consideration at home can. It is a slap in the face of our military to allow this issue to go unresolved.

Fortunately, it now appears that at least one Congressman is considering bringing a legal action to force Obama to establish his eligibility to serve as President and Commander-In-Chief.  When Members of Congress openly voice doubts about Obama’s eligibility, how can General Petraeus possibly consider the “natural born citizen” issue something that he can continue to ignore? I strongly urge Rep. Trent Franks and General Petraeus to study this issue and take the appropriate steps.

Congressman eyes lawsuit over president’s eligibility
Republican finds birth certificate sizzling topic at Arizona town hall

Posted: August 23, 2009
WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Arizona, told a townhall meeting in Kingman yesterday he is considering a lawsuit to establish Barack Obama’s eligibility for the presidency.

Franks said there is conflicting evidence on the question of Obama’s status as a “natural born citizen.”

His allusion to the possibility of a lawsuit forcing release of Obama’s original, long-form birth certificate is as far as any member of Congress has gone on this issue.

The eligibility issue was one of the hottest topics at the town hall meeting that included concerns about national defense, stimulus spending, health-care bills and the “cash-for-clunkers” program….Continue Reading

CitizenWells is urging his readers and  Rep. Franks constituents to make sure he is fully informed regarding the eligibility issue.  CitizenWells is correct because the media and Obama’s supporters have made sure there is a lot of erroneous information and  conclusions out there for the public to consider.

Trent Franks, US representative, Arizona, Town hall meeting, Saturday, August 22, 2009, Obama birth certificate, Franks questions Obama, health care reform, Franks considering filing a lawsuit, ACORN fraudulent

August 23, 2009

US representative Trent Franks of Arizona, conducted a Town hall meeting, Saturday, August 22, 2009, in Kingman, AZ. Health care reform, national defense and illegal aliens and even fraudulent ACORN were discussed. However, what was most interesting about Trent Franks’ comments was his questioning Obama on not producing a birth certificate and indicating he may initiate a lawsuit. I am not certain if representative Franks really understands the eligibility issues, but at least he understands that there may be a problem.

Here are three action items for us to address:

1. Make certain that Trent Franks understands the serious eligibility issues surrounding Obama as well as his complete hiding of his past.
2. Encourage Trent Franks to initiate a lawsuit and provide data and resources.
3. Let Trent Franks know that we will support his efforts to represent the American people and uphold the US Constitution.

Here are some exerpts from the Mojave Daily News:

Afghan conflict serious, ‘deteriorating’-Mullen

* Top U.S. military man says Afghan war “deteriorating”

* No decision yet to seek more troops – Admiral Mullen (Adds additional interviews, background, McCain comment)
By Phil Stewart

WASHINGTON, Aug 23 (Reuters) – The situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating along with U.S. public support for the war, Washington’s top military officer said on Sunday as he left open the possibility of another increase in troops.

“I think it is serious and it is deteriorating, and I’ve said that over the past couple of years — that the Taliban insurgency has gotten better, more sophisticated,” said Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

U.S. combat deaths have risen since U.S. President Barack Obama ordered a troop buildup to confront a resurgent Taliban, with a record 44 U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan in July.

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll showed a majority of Americans believe the war in Afghanistan is not worth fighting, and just a quarter say more troops should be sent there.

“Certainly the numbers are of concern,” Mullen said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” But he later added, “this is the war we’re in.”….Continue Reading

I reported last month that failed HHS nominee Tom Daschle “may be out of the spotlight since his Health and Human Services cabinet nomination fiasco. But he is in constant contact with Team Obama.”

Chapter 1 of Culture of Corruption provides a full sketch of Daschle’s tax-cheating, influence-peddling ways — and exposes Barack Obama’s refusal to throw his wheeler-dealer Beltway buddy off the bus. Limousine liberal Daschle’s tax evasions were the least of his problems. Tom Daschle is the personification of all that Obama professed to detest during his campaign of Hope and Change— – a consummate Beltway insider who parlayed his public service (where he earned a $158,000 yearly salary) into a $5.2 million personal fortune as one of Washington’s biggest influence peddlers along with his lobbyist wife.

And don’t forget –
