The BOPAC Report:

There’s a bit of good news and bad news this Friday the 19th of June, 2009. First, I have three bits of good news.  From World Net Daily comes signs that maybe we can prevent a 2012 repeat of Obama being given a pass on the necessity of complying with the eligibility requirements of the U. S. Constitution.  Next comes reports that Larry Sinclair continues to make progress on his book and Australia media helps spread the word. The bad news follows below.  Try to have a great weekend.

Senator calls for vetting of candidates’ eligibility
GOP’s Coburn likes plan to require birth certificates

Posted: June 18, 2009 By Bob Unruh

Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., says it’s the responsibility of the states to make sure political candidates are eligible for the offices

they seek, but he’s in favor of both state and federal demands that future presidential candidates have a formal procedure to document their qualifications.

The relatively strong statement from Coburn on the issue of the eligibility of a president came in a recent letter to a constituent who contacted WND.

WND has reported on a federal plan in the U.S. House by Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., that would require documentation of eligibility from presidential candidates, and Coburn confirmed he would view that positively.

“The bill requires any federal candidates’ campaign committee filing with the Federal Election Commission to produce a copy of the candidate’s birth

certificate,” he wrote. “If the bill makes it to the Senate, I will likely support it….Continue Reading

I want to thank Australi. To for posting yesterday’s post – “An Open Letter to United States Senator Joe Lieberman I hope that Senator Lieberman will do whatever he can for Americorps Inspector General Walpin who appears to have been wrongfully terminated by Mr. Obama.  In the letter to Senator Lieberman was a passage from Glenn Beck listener Janet Contreras:

…The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you’re willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation…(Senator Lieberman -please read the entire letter)

I sincerely hope Senator Lieberman will carefully consider Janet Contreras’ letter and respond to her.  Further, I urge everyone to send the Janet Contreras letter to their Representatives.

From Atlas Shrugs comes an article that made the hairs on my neck stand on end –

Hizb ut-Tahrir is “coming out” in the USA. They are feeling welcome under a jihad president. For Atlas readers unfamiliar with this group,

Hizb ut-Tahrir (Arabic: حِزْبُ التَحْرِير‎; English: Party of Liberation) is an international pan-Islamist, Sunni, vanguard[2] political party whose goal is to combine all Muslim countries in a unitary Islamic state or caliphate, ruled by Islamic law and with a caliph head of state elected by Muslims.[3]

Hizb ut-Tahrir America (HTA) has indicated that it has transitioned from its covert status to a public phase of operations by issuing an announcement, signed in its own name, that it will host a conference in July 2009 to support the establishment of a Caliphate. The promotional video can be viewed on YouTube. The event, titled “The Fall of Capitalism and Rise of Islam,” is scheduled for Sunday, July 19th, 2009, at the Aqsa School in Bridgeview, Illinois. …Continue Reading

Well it appears that Obama’s failure to support Democratic protesters in Iran has kept the Ayatollah from asking that pesky question that keeps coming up. Where’s the Birth Certificate? Hopefully, Great Britain will not pay too high a price for standing on principles.

LATEST: Ayatollah brands British government ‘treacherous’ and blames it for bloodshed

Chris Laker

Iran‘s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei today said that extremist behaviour of political governments around the world was to blame for the unrest in the country.

He added that there was “definitive victory” and no rigging in disputed presidential elections that set off days of unprecedented protests.

Addressing crowds at Friday prayers at Tehran University, Khamenei said that an 11 million-vote margin proved no fraud had taken place.

He blamed Great Britain and Iran’s external enemies for the unrest, calling the British government the ‘most treacherous’….Continue Reading

I guess Mr. Obama can begin putting that basketball court in the White House now.  I hear his architect envisions it going on the roof.  What have you people who voted for Obama done to America?
