Unfortunately, I don't have to make a big leap to believe something like this actually exists in the Obama White House basement! Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, The Constitution, our freedoms, etc. all appear to be in the BOPAC Administration's and their friends' (State Run Media, NAACP, Black Panthers, Ayers, Rev. Wright) sights.

It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign.

The crisis reached a howling pitch in mid-April, 2008, at an ABC News debate moderated by Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos. Gibson asked Obama why it had taken him so long – nearly a year since Wright’s remarks became public – to dissociate himself from them. Stephanopoulos asked, “Do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you do?”

Watching this all at home were members of Journolist, a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists. The tough questioning from the ABC anchors left many of them outraged. “George [Stephanopoulos],” fumed Richard Kim of the Nation, is “being a disgusting little rat snake.”

Others went further. According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

I'm Sure There Are Many Soldiers Living This Nightmare. It's Time For The Joint Chiefs of Staff to Step To The Plate and Support Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin! Don't Be Military Sheep.

In support of Lt. Col. Lakin’s courage in seeking the ‘Truth’ (and as a former In-Flight Tech in the Navy), I urge all who have served or have friends/family in the military to ask the following question of those currently serving. 

Brothers and Sisters in the Military, when are you going to demand Obama establish that he is a Natural Born Citizen, eligible to serve as Commander In Chief?  

The military is the only government organization that I continue to have respect for and it pains me criticize those serving.  And I understand the consequences of challenging Obama’s eligibility directly, but the continuing attacks against our Constitution by the left cannot be allowed to pass without objection in some form or another.  Acquiescence is not the only option.

Consider this please.  What if every serviceman or woman went to his or her Chaplin, stated their concerns and provided the basic evidence (direct and circumstantial, links, former statements by NPR etc. indicating a Kenyan birth, etc., etc.) that would cause most reasonable persons to have legitimate questions about Obama’s lack of eligibility to serve and issue lawful orders?  What if requests were made to each Chaplin instructing them to pass these concerns up the Chain of Command?  Would there come a point, a number of requests that would cause the leadership to demand proof of eligibility?

Maybe military leadership could utilize the following provision?

§ 935. Art. 135. Courts of inquiry

(a) Courts of inquiry to investigate any matter may be convened by any person authorized to convene a general court-martial or by any other person designated by the Secretary concerned for that purpose, whether or not the persons involved have requested such an inquiry.

If the Oath to protect the Constitution is not important today, why don’t we just change the oath of allegiance to reflect our current level of commitment?

Lt. Col. Lakin’s Journey – Living in Times that Try Men’s Souls

I rarely watch the Bill O’Reilly show on Fox because I’m not a fan of Mr. O’Reilly’s interview style.   However, I received an email saying that Megyn Kelly would be looking into the allegations of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin concerning Obama’s eligibility. Ms. Kelly’s involvement tweaked my curiosity. Because of the tremendous amount of courage and commitment to principle that’s embodied in Lt. Col. Lakin’s refusal to obey orders he believes to be ‘unlawful’, I tuned in last week to see if fairness and objectivity in reporting could possibly emerge out of the morass of misinformation currently dominating the mainstream media. 

Being aware that Bill O’Reilly has been consistently (mis) representing the ‘natural born citizen’ issue as merely a ‘citizenship’ issue and portraying everyone involved as a misguided group of nutcases, so I didn’t harbor any expectations that he would experience an ‘ah hah’ moment.  (Mr. O’Reilly relies on the existence of birth announcements placed in local newspapers to prove his case but fails to mention that the birth announcements were most likely placed by the state, not Obama’s family.) However, I did have hopes that Megyn Kelly, an attorney, would at least frame the issue correctly.  Once again, my hopes were misplaced.

I realize O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly are not journalists – they’re commentators/entertainers. And, the ‘natural born citizen’ issue and those attempting to peer behind the curtain have been effectively and maliciously recast by mainstream media misreporting and omission as something meriting ridicule, it’s not surprising to watch entertainers like O’Relly and Beck join in the piling on with the media herd. It’s sort of like a case of school bullying.  Sometimes – once something or someone is portrayed as being a certain way, those with knowledge that could slow or reverse the momentum of attack fail to stand up.  For whatever reason – they want to belong to the click, aren’t willing to risk criticism, want to keep a low profile, or they want to be popular (or at least not unpopular), etc.   They fail to stand up and injustice continues.

I expect this of kids but not of national media figures or news organizations. Even though FOX does lead in the race towards Fair and Balanced reporting among the mainstream media, they have consistently failed regarding the ‘natural born citizen’ issue.  In for a penny – in for a pound, I suppose.

I mention Glenn Beck only because of late he’s hammering away on a quote from Gandhi.

“Use truth as your anvil and non-violence as your hammer. And anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT.”

In any event, O’Reilly and Ms. Kelly portrayed Lt. Col. Lakin’s refusal to obey Obama’s orders as a mere attempt to attract attention to the issue.  Ms. Kelly gave no information or opinion about the ongoing controversies regarding the definition of the term ‘natural born citizen’.

This is the issue. The issue that the media (including FOX) have been intentionally ignoring and misreporting is the abundance of legal opinion indicating that in order to be a ‘natural born citizen’ both of your parents must also have been U.S. citizens at the time of your birth.  Regardless of where Obama was born, he fails to meet this part of the test to be a ‘natural born citizen’.

“Use truth as your anvil…” Anyone studying the eligibility issue is fully aware of this truth.  There are in fact various contentions as to what ‘natural born citizen’ means, why it was included in the United States Constitution and how it should be interpreted.

So O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly are suggesting that Lt. Col. Lakin, facing a dishonorable discharge, loss of benefits and prison time is merely attempting to garner attention?  Please! 

“…and non-violence as your hammer”  This decorated military officer with 18 years of service is being required to risk all because others have failed to do their jobs.  The media, state election officials, the Electoral College, Congress, the courts, the Chain of Command and Sen. McCain have all failed to meet their responsibilities.   It’s now suggested that maybe they were all waiting on each other.

How about Ms. Kelly at least entertaining the notion that Lt. Col. Lakin is living up to the Oath he took? How about at least understanding that there are in fact those among us who take such Oaths seriously? How about the possibility of losing one’s life, risking loss of limb, taking another’s life, subjecting oneself to charges of being a war criminal etc. vis-à-vis ‘unlawful orders’ originating at the very top of the Chain of Command?  This seems more likely to be the motivation for Lt. Col. Lakin’s non-violent actions.  Attempting to garner attention? Please!

“…anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT.” Most reasonable people looking at the facts presented thus far and possible likely motivations cannot reject Lt. Col. Lakin’s actions without more information. 

Why didn’t Ms. Kelly and Mr. O’Reilly point out how easily Obama could have resolved this issue for many that is undermining military cohesion and discipline?   He could have long ago presented his long form birth certificate, college records, and etc. to establish conclusively that he was born in Hawaii and does not have dual citizenship.  (But by Obama’s own admission his father was not an American citizen at the time of his birth.)  Well, maybe he can’t.

“Use truth as your anvil…” Isn’t this the truth the media should be focusing on?  Why won’t Obama release his long form birth certificate, college records, bar application, passport information, etc., etc., etc.? Weighed against the interest of soldiers in theater risking life and limb following ‘orders’ that could be ‘unlawful’ – doesn’t Obama’s small privacy concern pale in comparison?  Weighed against the possibility that a Lt. Col. with 18 years of service is risking his career and liberty – doesn’t Obama’s small privacy concern pale in comparison?

“…and non-violence as your hammer”  Let’s see.  Lt. Col. Lakin, CMD Kerchner, Lt. Commander Walter Fitzpatrick, III, Captian Connie Rhodes, Maj. Stefan Cook and many other members of the military have been questioning the eligibility of Obama to serve as Commander In Chief and jeapadizing their own military careers.  Is it reasonable to believe that they would not take such drastice actions without real concern over Obama’s eligibility.  How do these military lives and careers weigh in the balance when compared to merely releasing documents that every other Presidential candidate has voluntarily released?

“…anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT.” Without more, how could any reasonable person weighing the ‘known’ facts ‘reject’ the allegations and concerns Lt. Col. Lakin is raising?

“Use truth as your anvil…” Most estimates that I have seen indicate that Obama has spent around 1.7 million dollars trying to keep documents normally provided to the public by Presidential candidates hidden.   Isn’t it true that under normal circumstances every media outlet in America would be turning over every stone to find out what Obama is hiding?  Isn’t that one of the most important stories here?

“…and non-violence as your hammer”  Let’s see.  Philip Berg (Democrat), Steve Pidgeon, Leo C. Donofrio, Mario Apuzzo, Dr. Orly Taitz, and many other attorneys have taken up this issue knowing the ridicule they would face and the jeapardy they placed their careers in.  Does anyone really believe that Obama would spend so much money hiding documents normally provided to the public without something major to hide?  Would you?

“…anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT.” Without more, how could any reasonable person weighing the ‘known’ facts ‘reject’ the allegations of Lt. Col. Lakin? 

“Use truth as your anvil…” The truth is that Obama has admitted that he acquired British Citizenship through his Kenyan father.  Some suggest that Obama continues to hold British citizenship.  Obama’s grandmother said Obama was born in Kenya, Michelle Obama referred to Kenya as Obama’s home country, several Kenyan representatives have indicated Obama was born in Kenya.  Several news organizations have reported prior to the election that Obama was born in Kenya, including NPR.  There are also questions about a possible Indonesian citizenship arising out of Obama’s adoption.

“…and non-violence as your hammer”  No one has stormed the White House to forcibly remove Obama. Everyone is attempting in good faith to go though the proper channels.  Many court cases have been filed and not one has been addressed on the merits by the court.  Judges have been finding every legal loophole possible to avoid discovery and making a determination about Obama’s possible lack of status as a ‘natural born citizen’.

The media would have you believe that the courts have rejected the allegations that Obama is not eligible to serve. That is simply not true. The courts are evading the issue.

Now members of our military such as Lt. Col. Lakin are being called upon to stand as the last line of defense for the Constitution.  He has answered the call. Hopefully, many others will add their voices to Lt. Col. Lakin’s and make a noise so loud that it will rock the foundation of the military itself and have the Joint Chiefs begging for resolution.

Thus far, the Joint Chiefs of Staff appear to be quietly acquiescing to what is possibly the greatest case of fraud in American history.  Actually, they’re acting like school kids.

When those who are supposed to lead shirk their responsibilities, those who follow, those who have based their lives upon principles are left with few options other than to walk bravely into the batons of the oppressors as Gandhi and his followers.  I’m sure Lt. Col. Lakin is aware of the obstacles and challenges that await him.  With 18 years of exemplary service behind him, how can he not?

“…anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT.” In light of the above statements and suggestions of a Kenyan birth, what do you think?  Can anyone really reject out of hand Lt. Col. Lakin’s assertions and doubts? 

Just a reminder, even if Obama were born in Hawaii, he still fails to meet the test for being a ‘natural born citizen’ because of the citizenship of his father.  This is why Obama does not want the issue to be addressed on the merits. It’s why courts are falling over themselves to avoid addressing this political hot potato. This is why he continues to let military men and women sacrifice their careers and why Obama allows doubts to persist throughout the ranks. He knows he might not meet the test for being a ‘natural born citizen’.

“Use truth as your anvil…” Ms. Kelly seemed to want to leave viewers with the impression that Lt. Col. Lakin could not possibly present a valid defense in a court martial for refusing to obey orders of a superior officer. Admittedly it is a hard row to hoe but Lt. Col. Lakin does in fact have defenses. One defense is that given the known facts, every ‘reasonable serviceman’ or woman in the military could in fact have reasonable doubts about Obama’s Constitutional eligibility to serve as President and Commander In Chief. 

Using the same logic present in Rule 916 (d).

“Obedience to orders. It is a defense to any offense that the accused was acting pursuant to orders unless the accused knew the orders to be unlawful or a person of ordinary sense and understanding would have known the orders to be unlawful.”

According to The Rules for Courts-Martial (R.C.M.) (2008 Edition), Lt. Col. Lakin will have the ability to use civilian defense counsel as long as it is at no expense to the military. Therefore, I urge people to support Lt. Col. Lakin’s legal defense fund.

Even though Lt. Col. Lakin’s chances of success at his court martial are not great. It is vitally important for Lt. Col. Lakin to have a highly experienced civilian attorney well versed Constitutional law, the UCMJ, and preserving rights on appeal.  Preserving Lt. Col. Lakin’s appellate rights is critical, takes experience and is not inexpensive.

The main reasons I harbor doubts about victory at a possible court martial come from the past history of the eligibility issue in civilian courts and the Rules for Courts-Martial (R.C.M.) (2008 Edition) itself:

1. ”An order requiring the performance of a military duty or act may be inferred to be lawful and it is disobeyed at the peril of the subordinate.”
2. ”The lawfulness of an order is a question of law to be determined by a military judge.”
3. “A general order or regulation is lawful unless it is contrary to the Constitution, the laws of the United States, or lawful superior orders or for some other reason is beyond the authority of the official issuing it.”

Therefore, no one should expect Lt. Col. Lakin at his own court martial to be able to force Obama to produce documents proving that he is a ‘natural born citizen’.

However, Lt. Col. Lakin may be able to introduce the newspaper articles indicating an Obama birth in Kenya and the citizenship of his father through an exception to the hearsay rule.  (Or possibly in mitigation – see Rule 1001.)

Lt. Col. Lakin may also be able to introduce or have judicial notice taken of the 1961 Hawaii statutes and regulations concerning the evidentiary value the ‘birth certificate’ and ‘birth announcements’ that are currently in the public domain.

And, Lt. Col. Lakin should be able to introduce legal argument supporting the proposition that in order to be a ‘natural born citizen’ Obama must have been born in America to 2 parents who were both citizens at the time of his birth.  “A general order…is lawful unless it is contrary to the Constitution.”

In any event, attempts to introduce such evidence should be made at every opportunity – taking care to properly preserve the denial/issue for appeal.

Another provision in the R.C.M that got my interest states: ”The order must not conflict with the statutory or constitutional rights of the person receiving the order.” 

My first thoughts went to the oath Lt. Col. Lakin swore to uphold, due process, and rights flowing from the 5^th Amendment.

Given the new global environment, what’s to stop a country like Afghanistan, Pakistan, N. Korea, or Iran etc. from claiming that any and all deaths at the hands of U.S. Service personnel are war crimes because they should have known that they were following ‘unlawful orders’?

Consider the following statement contained in a Congressional Research Service report for Congress:

…Although not immune from prosecution, U.S. personnel who could be charged with violating the War Crimes Act would have several possible defenses to criminal liability, so long as their activities were conducted with the authorization of the Administration and under the reasonable (though mistaken) belief that their actions were lawful…

Are those engaged in drone attacks in Pakistan in jeopardy?  Will there come a point when there is so much information is in the public domain calling into question Obama’s eligibility that it would make it unreasonable to believe that Obama Administration’s authorizations are lawful?

I am not an expert in Military Law but for purposes of this article I wanted to make a couple of quick points related to the impression Ms. Kelly gave on the O’Rielly show. In any event, Lt. Col. Lakin’s court martial will require a skilled attorney, able to try the case in the court of public opinion as well and to cause the Military Times to report on it daily. 

“…and non-violence as your hammer”  Lt. Col. Lakin has apparently done everything he could through proper channels to have the military address this issue to no avail.  Lt. Col. Lakin, being left with no recourse other than to abandon his Oath to protect and defend the Constitution, has knowingly and willingly placed himself in jeopardy of court martial.

“…anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT.”

I have seen nothing that suggests that Lt. Col. Lakin’s concerns should be rejected.  Have you?

However, it is entirely possible that Lt. Col. Lakin will be required to pay a high price for his fidelity to his Oath.  He may be required to join the ranks of Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Martin Luther King and others who have been willing wait in jail while truth finds its way to the surface.

If sufficient numbers of military personal voice their support for Lt. Col. Lakin, there will come a point when the Joints Chiefs of Staff will be knocking on the door of the White House demanding that the deception and lack of transparency end for the sake of the military and its cohesion as a fighting force.

As I write this article, I have just learned that Supreme Court Justice Thomas has admitted that the nation’s highest court is “evading” the eligibility issue.  What? It seems everyone involved is/was waiting for someone else to take the lead!

I think America needs a lot more anvils of truth being hammered with many, many more hammers of non-violence!  Avoidance is not truth.  Omission is not truth. 

Honor is the one thing that makes our military special and right now it is in jeopardy from the top down through the Chain of Command.   Like truth, honor in all matters must be maintained.

Are the Joint Chiefs really willing to live with such a result because of someone who has repeatedly demonstrated his lack of commitment to truth?  Need I remind they of the back room deals to get health care passed, the unjust firing of Inspector General Walpin, the unjust treatment of Larry Sinclair, Rezko, Ayers, Rev. Wright, etc., etc., etc.

If the Joint Chiefs are not going to expect members of the military to live up to their oaths, the oath should be changed to something more appropriate.

I, _______, do solemnly swear to protect ME and I will try to defend the Constitution as long as it doesn’t adversely impact the aforementioned ‘ME’.

Iain Murray offers a useful primer on e-mails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in the UK (mentioned by Goldfarb, here), hacked and publicized, which revealed systematic, less-than-scientific treatment of data in order to bolster global-warming claims.

So what does this all mean? It does not mean that there is no warming trend or that mankind has not been responsible for at least some of the warming. To claim that as result of these documents is clearly a step too far. However, it is clear that at least one branch of climate science — paleoclimatology — has become hopelessly politicized to the point of engaging in unethical and possibly illegal behavior.

To the extent that paleoclimatology is an important part of the scientific case for action regarding global warming, urgent reassessments need to be made. In the meantime, all those responsible for political action on global warming should stop the process pending the results of inquiries, investigations, and any criminal proceedings. What cannot happen is the process carrying on as if nothing has happened.

Acorning the Climate Change Movement

The climate change movement may have been caught in its first ACORN moment, with the publication of emails suggesting global warming data has been manipulated or suppressed.

The University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) email system was hacked, and it appears fraud as a political strategy may not be limited to ACORN’s community organizing. As with ACORN, rest assured, it won’t be the political or big media establishments that capture the next big evidentiary breakthroughs in “Climategate.”

Global warmists apparently don’t find destroying evidence offensive to their “science.” Similarly, ACORN doesn’t  seem fettered by ethics. Not even a week apart from the breaking news of Climategate, BigGovernment.com reported that the San Diego ACORN office was caught on film literally dumping documents even though it is facing investigation.

On this dumping of documents, BigGovernment.com reports,

“ACORN’s political agenda is also exposed, with thousands upon thousands of documents revealing the depth of the political machine that is ACORN, and its disturbing ties to not only public employee labor unions but some of the most radical leftist organizations.”

Either California’s attorney general didn’t demand that ACORN preserve all documents for the investigation, so that ACORN could not use the excuse of its document retention and destruction policies to destroy evidence, or ACORN ignored that demand.

Now with calls for investigations into Climategate, will investigators neglect taking steps to prevent the destruction of evidence? One cannot understate the scope of the fraud if data were manipulated or suppressed for financial and market gains, or other nefarious reasons (not that suppression of data by members of the scientific community wouldn’t be nefarious on its face).

Besides their apparent shared willingness to tamper with evidence, the climate change movement and ACORN have another common link: their foundations in Marxism.

ACORN, from founder Wade Rathke to others, employed the techniques and visions of Marxist Saul Alinsky.

The green movement, which found its ultimate vessel in climate change, is also steeped in Marxist foundations. The Green Horizon Foundation’s reading list, for example, is filled with Marxist authors, including Marx himself.

French author Andre Gorz, who’s featured on that list, published Ecology as Politics in 1975. In it, Gorz does not mask the anti-capitalist, Marxist agenda of the green movement. The 2.8% in the below article reflects mainly increases in ‘government spending’.  The illusion of a real sustainable increase in GDP was totally funded by Obama’s people printing money out of nowhere!  All smoke and mirrors that the compliant media spun as some great step towards recovery.

Notice that the government estimates were way off.  Do you think Congress is accurately estimating the costs for their proposed takeover of America’s healthcare system?  You can probably triple their estimates and still have estimated costs well below what they actually will be!

3rd quarter GDP 2.8%, not 3.5%

The Commerce Department revised its third-quarter economy estimation sharply downward today, from the previously announced 3.5% annualized growth to 2.8% instead.  That number would still be the best quarter in almost two years, but as the AP notes, it’s almost entirely comprised of short-term government stimulus:

The economy grew at a 2.8 percent pace last quarter, as the recovery got off to a slower start than first thought.

The Commerce Department’s new reading on gross domestic product wasn’t as energetic as the 3.5 percent growth rate for the July-September period estimated just a month ago.

The main factors behind the downgrade: consumers didn’t spend as much, commercial construction was weaker and the nation’s trade deficit was more of a drag on growth. Businesses also trimmed more of their stockpiles, another restraining factor.

The new reading on GDP, which measures the value of all goods and services produced in the United States — from machinery to manicures — was a tad weaker than the 2.9 percent growth rate economists surveyed by Thomson Reuters had expected.

Jim Geraghty points out one big set of numbers that changed:

The revised numbers out today indicate that automotive consumption was less than half initially estimated, contributing 0.81 of percentage point to growth. The overall quarterly growth number was revised from 3.5 percent to 2.8 percent.

The White House had pointed to the original number of 1.7% as an indicator of the success of Cash for Clunkers. Now it looks as though they overestimated that number as well, which auto analyst Edmunds.com had stated….Continue Reading

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.

The three SEALs will be arraigned separately on Dec. 7. Another three SEALs — two officers and an enlisted sailor — have been identified by investigators as witnesses but have not been charged.

FoxNews.com obtained the official handwritten statement from one of the three witnesses given on Sept. 3, hours after Abed was captured and still being held at the SEAL base at Camp Baharia. He was later taken to a cell in the U.S.-operated Green Zone in Baghdad.

The SEAL told investigators he had showered after the mission, gone to the kitchen and then decided to look in on the detainee.

“I gave the detainee a glance over and then left,” the SEAL wrote. “I did not notice anything wrong with the detainee and he appeared in good health.”

This is a question that has captured my attention lately. It has been brought to the forefront by simply paying attention to the bits and pieces which the forces that be have not been able to contain. Those bits and pieces that make up Senator Obama, that influence(s) his life, that have shaped his thinking, that have shaped his feelings for America, that have shaped his religious views and values – they are the one that are critically important in knowing or predicting where Sen. Obama might take America.

When I look at how the media has given Sen. Obama a complete pass on his past controversies and current allegations that are still out there, hidden from the public, I shudder.[i] When I look at how the media and Sen. Obama have not allowed the general public to know what his relationships and associations are about, I shudder.

When Sen. Obama attempts to conceal his relationships and their importance, by making statements that require us to suspend our disbelief, I shudder. How could anyone stay in a church for 20 years, have his children baptized there, be married there, stand and clap, sit in the pews and still not understand the hatred and racism Rev. Wright, his minister and spiritual mentor, harbored? How? How can anyone truly believe him? Believe him even a small amount, how?

How can anyone believe what the Senator says about the people he is distancing himself from now?

m Rev. Wright. When the Rev. was the preacher at the church, the young Obama needed to belong to in Chicago to further his career. Rev. Wright even said that Obama was distancing himself from himself because Obama is a politician and that’s what a (Presidential) politician needs to do.

m Pastor Michael Pfleger. Whose ideas and preaching are well known in Chicago.

m Bernradine Dorn and William Ayers. When he sat on a board with him, gave lectures with, went to his house for his blessings upon entering politics in Chicago. Apparently, that was required for young Obama to have a chance. Obama has reportedly said that he was friendly with him. Their group bombed the Pentagon!!!

m And Tony Rezco. When he raised money for Senator Obama’s political career, gave him a sweetheart land deal, introduced him to influential people, and most likely taught Sen. Obama a lot about politics in Chicago.

So what I know is that the Senator learned his lessons about Chicago politics well. When it was time to throw someone, anyone, a church, a grandmother under the bus to advance his political career, he did it with prose and ease.

So what I know is that the people in Chicago understand that politicians say and do the things that politicians believe they need to say and do. Take Rev. Wright for example.

So what my fear is? Because of what I know above, if Senator Barrack Obama finds himself in the White House, then it is entirely possible that all of the people mentioned above will be welcomed back into Senator Obama’s life. I think I heard that he could no more disown Rev. Wright than he could disown the black community? (Or something like that.)

So that leads to my question:

Will we see Rev. Wright, Pastor Michael Pfleger, Pentagon bombers Bernradine Dorn and William Ayers, Minister Louis Farrakhan and corrupt Tony Rezco and his associates, staying in the Lincoln bedroom?

Will they be having a pajama party?

Is there a hot tub in the White House?

And lastly, will the American Tax Payers be forced to endure the ultimate humiliation by being required to foot the bill for pampering and honoring Louis Farrakhan and the Brothers of Islam, for honoring Senator Obama’s Racist Pastors, for honoring Pentagon bombers and terrorists, for honoring America hating elitists and for honoring (and possibly pardoning) the Senator’s corrupt contributor Tony Rezco and his associates? Will We? Will We? We need to wake up and look closely at Sen. Obama’s companions and friends. We must.

I wish I knew how to break the hypnotic spell that the Senator and the Media has managed to cast on many in America. WAKE UP, PLEASE! Wake up now, before it is too late.

Obama’s campaign and Camp Obama’s strategy which focused on the vulnerable caucuses and the early primaries worked. Obama only lost 1 out of 14 caucuses, a staggering achievement, especially when he lost 21 out of 38 primaries and scored a statistical tie in popular vote. How did he accomplish such an astonishing string of victories that would eventually define the Democratic Primary? I live in Davenport, Iowa – Precinct 23. I arrived at our precinct caucus at 6:30. At 6:50 pm, over 75 people of African American descent came walking in, past the tables and sat in the Obama section.  I knew one of them from my canvassing.  I knew another one who did not live in this precinct!  And aside from the 4 or 5 families that live on Hillandale Road, there are no other black people in this unusually white precinct and one of those black couples were in my Hillary section. The results were Obama 3, Clinton, 2, Edwards 1!  It was impossible for me to argue since the precinct chair was an Obama supporter from another precinct. A very large bus was seen in the parking lot afterwards carrying these folks back.

You probably have heard about the busloads coming in from over the IL border, but you may not have known about the busloads coming in from the NE border. North Omaha and Omaha itself are two of the three places in NE — Lincoln being the third — where there’s over 5% African-American population. Obama’s campaign offered people things like I-pods and free stuff– t-shirts, clothes, shoes, and at least two free meals on the Nebraska side.

There were a lot of young people there and a lot of black people.  We do not have that many blacks in this county.  El Dorado is a small town of about 12,000 and it is the largest town in the county.  There are probably only a handful of blacks that live in El Dorado.  I work with the school district and travel to the high school, middle school and elementary schools and believe me, there are very, very, few  black students.

There was NO voter registration for the MN caucus… no identification was checked so Obots were going from room to room voting over and over again giggling all the while doing it.

Throughout this mess of a process, hostility built to a degree I found truly alarming.  Some overenthusiastic BHO supporters formed a gauntlet in the hallway outside the registration area, on the way to the ballroom, within the zone in which campaigning was prohibited.  Any HRC supporter was subject to verbal abuse, ridicule and, eventually, physical assault.

FROM NEBRASKA

Nebraska was totally chaotic and each precinct location had a different way to do the caucus. In Nebraska, 18 precincts where crammed into one high school in Sarpy county. When I got there, it felt like I stepped into a Third World voting situation. They were trying to determine whether people could actually participate in the caucuses or not, and then it seemed like they just gave up on that and just let anyone participate. There was a gym at the high school where about 5 precincts met. A person was supposed to fill out their preference on a slip of paper and then turn it in. They tried to run it like a primary instead of a true caucus, just take out any semblance of order and guards against voter disenfranchisement that a normal primary would have. I found a pile of these preferences slips just sitting on a table where anyone could pick them up and fill them out.

I was at the Texas Caucus and the Obama supporter’s took the Packets as early as 6:30 AM which they were told not to do, They never let go and then when time came to vote they took over the precinct by some of them pushing the people that were supposed to run it across the room to chairs. They called in incorrect totals for Obama instead of correct ones. He actually had 4 delegates and they called in 19 delegates.

When my 88 year old Mother showed up, who can hardly walk on her walker, and they took her walker away from her when she said she was there to vote for Hillary. They said you are in the wrong place old woman; this is an Obama precinct, and you need to go across town. When I saw what was happening I called the police. Blog post no quarter evelyn

As an eye witness at the Precinct and Senate District Conventions, this is how Obama won many caucuses. First of all, vast numbers of Obama supporters were bused in to the conventions. They were loud and intimidating. Texas Democratic rules state that each person who participates in the Precinct Convention should have voted in this precinct and sign-in personally on a formal sign-in sheet. So many Obama people showed up, that there were not enough sign-in sheets available, so when the conventions ended, there were many sign-in sheets for Obama filled out in the same handwriting, not signed-in as specified. As Hillary supporters, we obtained copies of these sign-in sheets from all over south Texas, Harris County in particular. We laboriously compared the names on the sheets to see if the person who attended the precinct convention had voted in the primary election. Many listed Obama people had not. We then cross-checked the names of the Obama people to see if they lived in the correct precinct. Many times the Obama people did not come to the correct precinct and often appeared on sign-in sheets, as being present in several precinct conventions at the same time (a violation of the space-time continuum).

They shoved Obama signs in Clinton delegates’ faces, three inches from the nose, called them racists, and told my friend that she had to move from her third-row seat in one meeting and go sit in the back. She also said that the proceedings were heavily laced with black power speeches by preachers as well as public officials.

What I saw was at least 3 trained group agitators — Since my MA is in group dynamics and group facilitation I recognized when someone is using techniques that I have been trained in. If such individuals were planted in ALL precincts, along with bringing in ringers — then ALL caucus results are bogus. For this sort of intensive origination to take place in a rural area — this means that a vast amount of money was spent to manipulate the results of the caucus. The Obama supporters kept changing the number of delegates — subtracting Clinton delegates and increasing Obama delegates, each time they claimed someone had changed and they had to do “complicated” math and that’s why Clinton kept losing delegates. There were NO Clinton supporters checking the Obama “math”.

Through the years, I have always been a supporter of reasonable compromise in order to see tasks accomplished. However, I have also realized that it is very important to be mindful that compromising has its limits; and to go further insures a very bad taste and may even insure disaster. If people compromise their principles, you wind up with the most fragile of agreements. You do so because if a person is willing to give up their principles for the sake of agreement, how can they be trusted to carry through with the bargain. The goal of compromise should be a win, win outcome with both sides compromising, and not simply an agreement.

Consensus, on the other hand, is nearly impossible to reach when involving more than just a few, reasonably like minded individuals. As Margaret Thatcher has said, “…consensus seems to be the process of abandoning all beliefs, principles, values and policies. So it is something in which no one believes and to which no one objects.” If the outcome of a consensus negotiation concerning a particular project is something that no one feels particularly good or strongly about, then it is most certain to die on the vine because enough people will fail to put forth the effort to see it through. (Unless, the reality is that it is a one person show to begin with.)

So what are the parameters of negotiations when it comes to members of Congress doing the Peoples work? Are bipartisan agreements really good for the country? The way I see it, the answer depends on the process that is used.

I believe that three elements are required for this type of process:

One – All of the parties must be negotiating in good faith. They should be trying to reach an agreement that is fair and just, that accomplishes the task at hand without seeking political advantage. Compromise must come from all sides, allowing the parties walk away feeling that everyone has won something.

Two – The parties must not compromise their principles. This is where many of the hard feelings and disappointments come into play. When I see politicians negotiating and seemingly reaching some agreement that appears to sacrifice principles, I almost instantly question whether the sacrificing party is negotiating in good faith or if they had any principles to begin with. I have many times seen the work of Congress accomplished by politicians who hold the long view that implies that they will eventually have the opportunity to get many more bites at the apple and wind up the ultimate winner, blocking out the other side’s interests. (This appears to be the posture of the far left under the leadership of Sen. Harry Reid and Speaker Pelosi.) If the politician, in reality, does not have any principles, then I suspect they are playing the political game of getting something accomplished and trusting that the public will not find out the details. Negotiating in good faith is the first element in the process.

A ‘No’ uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a ‘Yes’ merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.

Three – The People’s principals must not be compromised. The people’s principles and interests are set forth in the founding documents of this Nation. The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence, The Amendments to The Constitution are some the most important founding documents. It is absolutely critical that flawed politicians not be allowed to compromise any of the principles set forth in these documents because they are the foundation of America – it’s founding, it’s past, and it’s future. America will not survive if these principles are continuously whittled away at by self serving politicians, like some that we have today. (Pelosi and Reid come to mind.)

If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” Most importantly, when he proclaimed, “Don’t interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties.”

Our founding documents are America. They are the roots, the bark, the trunk, the branches, the leaves of America. They are the tree itself. The tree is America. Today, the shadow of America is the image that America has in the world community and which is held by many of its own people. It is the image that has been created by 24-7 news proclaiming that everything in America is bad and that America is the cause of all the ills of the world. This is a lie, the myth of propaganda, created by the world’s media and political leaders here and abroad that want to undermine this country so they can change America’s direction to suit their infinite wisdom. This is the shadow. It is the tree that is America; and America’s character is Good and Just.

So, can bipartisan negotiations in today’s Congress meet these standards of true compromise? I don’t think so.

President Woodrow Wilson, one of the founders of the original Progressive Movement, once declared, “Justly revered as our great Constitution is, it could be stripped off and thrown aside like a garment, and the nation would still stand forth in the living vestment of flesh and sinew, warm with the heart-blood of one people, ready to recreate constitutions and laws.”

President Wilson was and is wrong. Yes, we could possibly blunder through for a time, maybe even a few decades. But be warned, your freedoms would most assuredly be lost or greatly diminished. The government would be all that remains, trying disparately to sustain itself by your sweat and toil. It would be like someone taking an axe to the tree that is America; and with each swing, striking a blow at the Majesty that is America.

Obama’s idea of “Progressive Politics” is the just as dangerous. It is a path towards socialism that Senator Obama is proposing. Taking the profits of certain businesses to sustain the government and its power is an attack on individual liberty. “There can be no liberty unless there is economic liberty,” Margaret Thatcher. Over-taxing and over regulating business are failed policies that have not worked in the past. In fact, they mostly do damage. They nearly always cost jobs and economic growth. No matter how good it may feel to tax a vilified corporation, the taxes and costs of over regulation are always passed on to the consumers and effect competitiveness. You and I are the consumers. Vilification is primarily a short term means to achieve power.

Senator Obama’s energy policies will also severely impact our economy. When asked about the high cost of gas, he said that he was primarily concerned by how fast it rose. The way to bring down gas and oil prices is to announce an intention to substantially increase supply. We need to dramatically increase drilling and exploration for oil. We need to be doing the alternatives and building nuclear power plants to meet our needs. The great majority of Americans clearly understand this. However, Sen. Obama in his arrogance knows best and we will continue to pay the price at the pump.

Additionally, Senator Obama’s supporters have been the most abusive, threatening, and hostile group towards opposition that I have ever witnessed or heard about. They have caused blogs opposing the Senator to be shut down. They have made threats of physical violence and death threats against people who oppose Obama. They have made threats against Hillary Clinton’s delegates. The actions of the people who follow a person, sometimes give a clear indication about the person they are following – consider Rev. Wright.

Senator Obama has been dancing on the head of a pin to hide his past and true beliefs from the American people. The media has stood with him every step of the way. They have failed to investigate his past. They have failed to investigate his role in the Rezko mess. They have failed to investigate Larry Sinclair’s allegations that he and Sen. Obama used cocaine and engaged in consensual gay sex in 1999. They only started reporting on John Edwards because they could not hide it any longer. The media have allowed him to get away with not producing the documentation that we need for a complete examination of his past and character. The media has allowed him to not produce a legitimate birth certificate, his writings in law school, his thesis, his Illinois bar application, his Illinois Senate records, his medical records, etc. etc. etc…. The media has also helped to downplay any and all past close associations that we have managed to discover.

The growth rings of the tree that represents a person’s character can be thought of as one’s past associations, the roles they play in one’s life, and the individual’s actions.

In 2004, not much was know about Senator Obama.

Let’s not forget the ever-growing list of controversies: Rezko house and lot; lobbyists, bundlers, and overseas contributions; Odinga family and violence in Kenya; Soetero family and Muslim schooling in Indonesia; Dunham family in Kansas and Hawaii; and the mysteries of his birth certificate—is he Barry Soetero? Barack Obama Jr. or someone else and was his name ever legally changed?—and rumors about his possible dual or mixed citizenship…” The Real Barack Obama

Abraham Lincoln said, “I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts.”

I believe the same about the people when voting for the President. “The great point is to bring them the real facts.” To date the media has failed miserably in this charge. If the American people do make the poor choice of Senator Obama, it will be the media’s responsibility; however, we will pay the consequences.

(Race is only a small part.)

In politics and polling there exists a phenomenon known as the “Bradley Effect”. It came in to being during the 1982 campaign of Tom Bradley, a black politician, who was running for Governor of California against George Deukmejian, a white politician. The polls leading into the election showed Bradley with a lead, as did the exit polls. However, once in the ballot booth, many voters pulled the lever for the white candidate. Deukmejian won the election. Voters had told pollsters one thing and when push came to shove, they did another.

In this election, even though pollsters are attempting to compensate for the Bradley Effect through sly questioning, some are saying that scope of the effect could reach as high as 5 – 10 percent of potential voters. Unfortunately, this is being attributed solely to Obama’s race. I would like suggest that if we have a variance between the polls and the vote count, the cause will be much more complicated than simply race.

I think there are probably no less than five considerations that may give rise to some degree of deception on the part of voters.

Race

I’m sure that there will be a small portion of the voting public that will not vote for Senator Obama because he is black and may lie to avoid being thought of as racist. (The hardcore racists are probably already reflected in the polls.) Thankfully, in this day and age, this will represent only small percentage of the population because most people are beyond race as a reason to exclude someone from elected office. However, my worry is that the media and the black community may see or try to portray any difference between polling and the actual numbers as being completely about Obama’s race. That would be a shame, because such a portrayal would almost certainly be a misrepresentation of the actual situation.

So what are the other possibilities that could show up as a difference between polling and actual votes?

A Tarnished Republican Brand

The media, the left, and the Republican Party itself have been extremely effective in damaging the Republican brand. The media with its obvious visceral dislike for President Bush takes every opportunity to shape the news in the least favorable light towards the Republican Party; and, their vilification has worked. In some circles, instead of thinking of Republicans as the party of small government, integrity, fiscal responsibility, national security and state’s rights; they are thought of big spending, big government, morally bankrupt, war mongers. Even though, the vast majority of Republicans in their personal and public lives remain true to the highest principles of what it means to be Republican, the public image (mis)portrayed daily in the media over the past dozens of years is the one the general public sees. This vilification has been so relentless that it is easy to imagine some Republicans saying they would vote for Sen. Obama so maybe the media and pollsters might give them absolution. However, once in the voting booth, their heart of hearts may kick in and they will not be able to pull the level for such an inexperienced, naïve, corrupt, unpatriotic politician who will move the United States towards socialism.

The Blue Dog and Conservative Democrats

This will be a group from which I expect some volatility come Election Day. Democrats who consider themselves part of the center politically may be somewhat hesitant to tell a pollster that they will not be voting for Senator Obama, the Democrat. When the Blue Dogs actually face the choice in the voting booth of surrendering the Democratic Party to the extreme left wing or waiting another 4 years for a better option, we may see many pull the lever for Senator McCain.

Former Clinton Supporters

As someone who considers themselves an Independent, I’ve had the recent opportunity to get to know several Clinton supporters and I have been pleasantly surprised by their thoughtfulness, civility and compassion. I met these folks when I started blogging just a few months ago in support of Larry Sinclair’s right to have his allegations against Sen. Obama heard and investigated by the media. (The media continues to avoid doing their jobs.) As a result, it is not hard for me to imagine former Clinton supporters who are Democrats with a capital D having a hard time telling a pollster that they would not be supporting the Democratic nominee. However, when they get in the voting booth I imagine many will be thinking back and remembering the disrespectful treatment Ms. Clinton received from Sen. Obama and the media.

The media turned on Sen. Clinton before our eyes and Sen. Obama went so far a to flip her a bird while pretending to scratch his nose. I would bet you a dollar to a donut that both of the Clintons will be voting for McCain no matter what they say publicly.

Through this blogging experience, I have also observed first hand the cult like brutality and nastiness of Obama’s internet thugs who patrol the internet trying to quell opposition. They have released opposition blogger’s sensitive personal information, social security numbers, identities, caused blogs to be shut down, and have made other serious threats, including death threats against Mr. Sinclair. Consequently, I am very concerned that Sen. Obama will give these thugs and people like Rev. Wright, William Ayers, Farrakhan, etc. legitimacy.

The Media’s Unbridled Support and Their Creation of Superstar Status for Senator Obama Implies that the Election is Already Won

As unfortunate as it is, some people want to be perceived as being on the winning side. So at this stage, when a pollster asks Mary and Tom who they are voting for – if they are insecure and/or approval driven, they may just say Obama because media is supporting him and they believe he will win. However, once they’ve made their public declaration for Obama, they are safe. In the privacy of the voting booth, common sense will have an opportunity to rear its marvelous head and require them to vote against Obama because of all the unanswered questions about his life and experience. The questions the media have tried to down play, not report and/or cover-up. The sounds of the hate speech from the Senator’s spiritual advisor, Rev. Wright, will come thundering against the curtain. All the allegations of corruption circling around Tony Rezko and his friends will put an odor in the air. The images of the Senator befriending a Pentagon bomber, William Ayers, may raise again the issue of just how patriotic is this man. The total unfairness of the media’s fawning over Senator Obama may tweak the conscience of the voter and urge him or her to say no to the liberal media’s malicious tampering. The allegations of Larry Sinclair that he and the Senator did cocaine and engaged in consensual gay sex in 1999 will beg the questions: When did he stop using drugs? If the Senator is not faithful in his relationship with Michelle, how faithful will he be to America?

The Idea of Being a “Progressive” Seems Appealing at First Glance

Lastly, the thought of a Progressive making steps towards something better seems attractive. However, when one really looks at what it means to be a “Progressive” it should make most American’s recoil. This political ideology has its roots in the early part of this century with President Wilson. What it is really about is the idea that they, “The Progressives”, have evolved to a place of understanding and enlightenment about what is best for all of us. The people that I have encountered who truly buy into this ideology are many times closed minded and condescending because they do believe that they know best. Senator Obama’s statement about rural American being bitter and clinging to their guns and religion totally reflects the “Progressive’s” view of most of us. Further, Progressives unfortunately do not hold the Constitution in as high of regard as most Americans because they believe it was written in time long past – for a time long past; and now, it can and should be changed or interpreted as needed to facilitate their goals.

However, I can easily see how some voters might want to be identified as progressive; because, you know, it’s progressive and Obama’s progressive so they will vote for him because everyone must want to progress. The closer the election gets, I can only hope that these people will discover just how destructive Senator Obama’s agenda will be to our economy, security and founding principles. No. Regrettably, I think they will probably vote just as they told the pollster because once they progress how can they not progress, because Obama says he progressed and everyone must want to progress. I think these people probably make up the cult.

As anyone can see, I am not a supporter of Senator Obama. However, my non-support is entirely because of his policies and what I have discovered about him; and has absolutely nothing to do with his race. In my opinion, Senator Obama should lose this election because he is not the best person for the Presidency of the United States.

However, if Senator Obama does lose, I do sincerely hope that all people will consider the possibility that many factors may have contributed to any differences between the polls and the actually votes. As much as some may want it to be, race is not that big a deal today.

Truth and Lies

One’s Character Reflected in the Penumbra

The word penumbra is an appropriate and wonderful word for describing the edges where the difficult answers reside. Penumbra has been used by The Supreme Court to describe privacy rights that are not explicitly found in the Constitution, the ones on the edges. The word avails itself to the description of pornography as “I know it when I see it.” Each person may draw the line of description in a different place. What one may see as Art another may see as Porn. Where one draws the line may reflect matters of upbringing, religion, ethics, experience, associations, knowledge of history, context, intention, and character. The shadowy region where lightness and dark meet, not quite one or the other, is the visual image that comes to mind when I use the word. It’s where the dance occurs that results in firming of our opinions of what we are seeing, hearing, and experiencing.

This image seems to work in trying to describe something as the truth or a lie – is not always an easy question. Where do Actions fit in? What if one has an interest in the outcome? How about intentions? What personal lens of experience is the viewer looking through to judge truth? For me, both an accurate knowledge of context and the actors’ intentions are critical to discovering truth. Unfortunately, both of these are hard to know for certain and are subject to manipulation. John McCain has a long history which helps. Barrack Obama has a short public history, which does not help and raises the level of investigation required from the media.

When it comes to recognizing truth, I believe half of what I see and very, very little of what I read. With today’s media so clearly taking sides regarding this election and regarding most issues, what I read must be scrutinized to discover what facts are facts, what’s the real context, what facts are omitted, where opinion is stated as fact, what is implied as fact, what is credible, what is the author’s bias. It’s such a difficult challenge that I sometimes think that I’m better off staying away from many “journalists” who have a strong command of the English language, understand its power of persuasion, and clearly intend to use it for that purpose.

I’m speaking mainly about the main stream media or “drive by media” as Rush Limbaugh calls them. The media who a clear majority sees as biased. The media’s access to thousands of digital images to reinforce and/or paint a distorted narrative is a very powerful tool indeed. We all think we can trust what we are seeing. However, the visual is so strong that we need to talk ourselves into questioning what we see. “Seeing is believing,”is what we have always been told. I need to remind myself frequently not to trust that what I am seeing is completely representative of truth with a capital T. If the context is intentionally distorted then the meaning of what one sees is also distorted and that reinforces the false context. Context, bias, intention, interest in the outcome, conflict of interest, the viewer’s knowledge about history & context all come into play regarding the dance to discover truth and lies. Only the most basic statements of what is truth can be believed. He is older. He is white. He is black. He is young. Even these have nuances that can be considered.

I do believe that there is a core to Truth and a core to Lies, defined by intention and context. However, the shadowy regions where manipulation can occur are very broad indeed, so beware.

I think that our personal knowledge of the history of John McCain makes it much more difficult for the media to be very effective when they try to distort his beliefs and values. Actually, it may be part of the reason that most can see the bias that exists. We know John McCain and media attempts to manipulate are just not as credible. They are somewhat effective when they try to manipulate what we think about is age.

If the media were not so in the bag for Obama, I really believe he would not be the Democratic nominee. They have been intentionally not looking closely at the many issues that would bring most politicians down. Things like the allegations of corruption surrounding Tony Rezko and his partners in crime. How the associations with Rev. Wright and his hateful view of America have shaped Sen. Obama? Does he have any real level of patriotism? His upbringing and birth certificate are also issues. The Senator’s association with William Ayers, a person who was involved in bombing the pentagon, is very troubling. The anti-Semitic attitudes held by several of Sen. Obama’s close associates are also deeply troubling. Additionally, the press has totally failed to investigate the allegations that the Senator and Larry Sinclair used cocaine and engaged in consensual gay sex in 1999.

All of the above have the possibility of giving us some clear insight into Senator Obama’s intentions, credibility and our understanding of the context of the Senator’s actions today. What were the Senator’s intentions when he finally goes to Iraq for the first time? What were his intentions when he failed to visit wounded soldiers there? What was the real intention of putting a prayer in the wall in Israel? What about the Senator’s image that makes it possible for him to brush off legitimate criticism? Why is the media distorting almost everything we are learning about the Senator? Are we to believe that the media is interested in Truth? I don’t think so.

Instead of having real information from the media to use to judge Senator Obama’s character, intentions, believes, and actions. We are fed a ‘fairy tale’ that paints the Senator as new, pure, wise, a messiah, the bringer of Hope. This then becomes part of the reference many misled people use to judge all of the Senator’s current actions and intentions. Intentions are presumed pure and actions authentic. People judge this manufactured credibility as supreme when comparing his history, actions and statements to those of say John McCain, Fox news, or Larry Sinclair.

However, the media is not the only culprit here. Senator Obama himself and his campaign use their enormous fortune to shape and reinforce these false perceptions about him. At the same time, Senator Obama uses his minions to attack and discredit those who question, criticize or doubt him. He is really a very dangerous, deceitful politician from the pit of corrupt politicians, Chicago.

Hopefully, by the election, the dance of deceit that is taking place in the penumbra of truth and lies will be revealed. The media manipulation of truth and image, the manipulation by Senator Obama, the distortion, the attacks against voices in opposition to Senator Obama, the use of catchy slogans that mean nothing when they are not sincere, the naiveté, the inexperience, the socialist agenda, the true nature of Obama style politics, and the true context of his life that reflects a questionable character may all come into focus and not be denied any longer. How one states their own history, accurately or distorted, speaks volumes about their character.

This is the most important election that I can remember and I hope we will not let it be stolen by Obama’s Dance of Deceit.

Enter Stage Left – The newest citizen of the world, Senator Barrack Obama, whose scripted rhetoric soars in Europe. (Well, it naturally rises if you set the stage with free rock bands and free beer, which is evidently what occurred. Heck, I’d consider going for that.) So, Senator Obama appeared in Germany, not as a presidential candidate, but as a citizen of American and as a citizen of the world. The emphasis on being a global citizen caused me to consider the meaning of such a statement. I certainly realize that most of this was the political theatre of the “looking for the photo op” kind, but the level of pandering involved gives rise to some concern. The translation – under my leadership, America will strive to be you (European) because America has lost its way, we’ve made so many mistakes, we’ve been wrong all along the way and now we must sacrifice to go forward. I would ask: Is everyone in Europe happy with the European Union model? I don’t think so. (I do like the free beer aspect.) Is the ultimate sacrifice that we in America will be asked to endure is to give up our independence and U.S. sovereignty for the concept of global governance? It very well could be.

What appears to be happening is that the extreme left is looking for the emergence or convergence of a collective that will be governed by the right (actually the left) thinking peoples of the world. The ultimate goal being the submission of everyone’s free will to the collective good as defined by the left. It is being accomplished by attempting to come to power with aid of the media’s support, spreading the false idea that only they (the enlightened ones) can effectuate change and that all other voices should be discredited. Unfortunately, the people this year are especially susceptible to this message because there does exist a generalized feeling of malaise in the population created by the media. The main stream media has taken every opportunity for years now to paint the world, the news, with the brush that says the sky is falling. It has been effective.

This is a formula that has worked for dictators time in memorial, Hitler included. Hitler used the Jews as the reason Germany was experiencing such hard times following WWI. Obama and Democrats from the far left are using the war in Iraq, President Bush, the bad oil companies and the obfuscation of economic principles to bamboozle the American people. Books have been burned, scapegoats created and opposition silenced before and we are seeing it now online. (I hope you have been following the tactics employed against those blogs and voices opposing Senator Obama on the internet. Social security numbers, IP addresses, personal information such as illnesses and medical conditions has been disclosed to the public at large, sites have been hacked into, information removed and sites have been shut down.) What we have been experiencing by opposing Sen. Obama in this election has been extraordinary. Unfortunately, it is only a preview of things to come.

Once the message is established and the means for the common man or woman to speak effectively (on the internet) is controlled, then the only voice will be “Change we can believe in.” The media will eagerly join in the chorus. Reverend Wright and William Ayer’s philosophies will finally emerge from the breast of Barrack Obama – and those of you who have decided that Obama is our course will need to accept that the responsibility this disaster is yours.

Once elected, we all will be hard pressed to find out exactly what is occurring during this transition to completely centralized government because the media has been shown to be willing enabler of Obama. Even now, there are rumors of bringing back the “Fairness Doctrine” which will effectively quell any strong voices in opposition to Sen. Obama’s message and plans. Please don’t be fooled by the nice sounding words – fairness doctrine. It is merely a guise to impose so many restrictions and penalties on radio stations that they will chose to not put on “talk radio” because the legal hassle will be too great for most stations to endure, especially the mom and pop stations.

The words of former Democratic President Woodrow Wilson (1912) come to mind to show that ideas inherent in Obama’s America have manifested before.

Justly revered as our great Constitution is, it could be stripped off and thrown aside like a garment, and the nation would still stand forth in the living vestment of flesh and sinew, warm with the heart-blood of one people, ready to recreate constitutions and laws….

I cannot imagine power as a thing negative and not positive…

Government does now whatever experience permits or the times demand…

President Woodrow Wilson was one of the leaders of the progressive movement – Obama’s movement.

This last quote lays the ground work for the kind of fascism that is coming and that we in the blogging world are experiencing from Senator Obama’s supporters. It seems that we all must ultimately think and believe Obamaspeak. The media has made him the standard bearer of what America is to become – a bunch of sheep following the chosen few.

The level of intimidation by Obama supporters against opposing voices has been unprecedented in this brief but important history of the internet. I’m reminded of the saying by President Bush from some time ago, “You’re either with us or you’re against us.” I suppose some things just keep coming around with different actors, don’t they?

What will America look like if President Wilson’s thinking and actions are directed to the global citizen concept?

Enter again stage Left – Barrack Obama, Reverend Wright, William Ayers, George Soros, Tony Rezko, Louis Farrakhan

Exit stage right – The American Individual who has made this country truly great. The ones who get up every day and strives to be the best they can be, strives to solve the problems facing us all.

While we are followers of Jefferson, there is one principle of Jefferson’s which no longer can obtain in the practical politics of America. You know that it was Jefferson who said that the best government is that which does as little governing as possible…. But that time is passed. America is not now and cannot in the future be a place for unrestricted individual enterprise

I hope you read this last quote very carefully and think very seriously about if this is the America you truly want.

Why should the American Individual continue to start new businesses in the face of growing governmental red tape, control and taxes?

Why should the American Individual continue to fund (taxes) the ever increasing number of people who want a free ride bought and paid for by someone else’s sweat and effort?

Why should the American Individual strive to make the advancements necessary to grow jobs, cure disease, protect freedom, and solve the energy mess Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have gotten us into? (Only to see their profits stripped from them.)

Why shouldn’t they just get on the dole and let someone else take care of their every need? Then they could simple vote for whoever will keep sending the checks (the DNC of Chicago) and not worry.

Why shouldn’t they vote for anyone who will promise them the most? Everyone else is doing it!

Normally, I would say, “Because they’re responsible Americans.”

But this election year, given that the electorate appears to be so blinded, I’m tempted to say, “Why not let the government attempt to care for our every need, to heck with the future of our children, close your businesses, retire, let it fall apart on Obama’s watch.” Maybe when it all falls apart or we’re attacked again because of Obama’s policies and naiveté, the people living here will once again come to remember and think about how we got this far as a people. Maybe then reason will make a comeback and it will be time to vote responsible Republicans, Blue Dog Democrats and Independents back in office – to clean up the mess.

The mess that Senator Obama’s imposition of Mediocrity upon America will bring. The Mediocrity imposed by government handouts to create dependence and secure your vote, instead of a hand up. The Mediocrity caused by the over regulating and socializing of businesses. The Mediocrity caused by unjust wealth redistribution which stymies the creative individual spirit and initiative. The same Mediocrity that will cause the hard working, innovative Americans and the small businessmen and women to resent the government’s hand being so deep in their pockets in exchange for some votes does not come without consequence. The same Mediocrity will cause the job producers to close shop or lay people off rather than deal with such idiocy, bureaucracy and taxes. The Mediocrity arising from our relying primarily on government (rather than reaching for a hand up or pulling ourselves up), damaging our resilience. The Mediocrity that going down the road of one world government and surrendering parts of our sovereignty will cause to emerge. (Just think about ineffectiveness of the United Nations.) The Mediocrity that flows from unreasonable tax policies, which seem to follow the expression credited to Sen. Russell B. Long.

The current political shell game of vilifying business and oil companies, threatening higher taxes and seizing profits is just plain dishonest and disingenuous. Reason should allow everyone to see that the taxes imposed on business will ultimately be paid by each of us because such taxes will always be passed on in the price of the product. We are that fellow behind the tree.

Because we’re blessed by just being born here and we still have the vote – even though the media is trying hard to effectively take it away – even though they won’t investigate Obama’s past associations – even though they won’t investigate Obama’s connections and conduct related to Tony Rezko and friends – even though they won’t investigate Larry Sinclair’s allegations of drug use and gay sex with Sen. Obama in 1999 – even though, etc., etc., etc…..

Certified Copies of Death Certificates Raise even More Questions

Below is the Chicago Television News report on the murder of Trinity United Christian Church Choir Director and openly gay lover of presumptive Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama.

Now I have the following questions to ask based on fact, not fiction as has been claimed by the Obama internet warrior.

1.   Jeremiah Wright announced Donald Young’s death at either the 7:30 AM or 11:00 AM Service. Based on the Certified copy of Chicago Death Certificate on Donald Young, Young was “found shot at 7:30 am,” but was not pronounced dead in his apartment from multiple gunshot wounds by Medical Examiner until 12:10 PM, Sunday December 23, 2007.

How did Jeremiah Wright already know Donald Young was dead?  Who told him?

The following information is also provided to demonstrate that which I have always stated was my knowledge, instead of the pro Obama factions making claims I have accused Obama of being involved in multiple murders.

I have always stated that while Larry Bland was indeed the victim of murder (Bland was pronounced dead by Medical Examiner of Multiple gun shot wounds November 17, 2007 at 8:40 AM) I have always stated it was my belief Young’s murder was intentionally made to appear to have been committed by the same killer of Bland.

Nate Spencer was not murdered, and in fact the information that I posted and informed people was my understanding is in fact verified based on the certified copy of the Death Certificate of Nate Spencer.  Nate Spencer pronounced dead of natural causes, “septicemia, pneumonia, HIV December 26, 2007 at 6:31 AM”

I repeat my above question:  How did Jeremiah Wright already know Donald Young was dead?  Who told Wright that Young was dead well before Donald Young was pronounced dead?”
