Unfortunately, I don't have to make a big leap to believe something like this actually exists in the Obama White House basement! Especially after the discovery of the existance of the 'Journolist' Truth Assassins - Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, The Constitution, our freedoms, etc. all appear to be in the BOPAC Administration's and their friends' (State Run Media, Journolist, NAACP, Black Panthers, Ayers, Rev. Wright) sights.

Yesterday, when I checked my twitter account, I saw that Hannity was announcing that Gov. Jindal was going to be on at the top of the hour. I immediately shot off the following reply:

So this morning, I thought that I would repost an article (letter to talk radio) written a few months ago.

Dear Talk Radio:

This week I wrote an article, ‘Trumping Political and Judicial Courage’, that allowed me to speculate about the various reasons allegations related to Obama’s eligibility to serve as President have thus far been ignored, ridiculed, quashed, mischaracterized, and/or generally swept under the rug.  My musings always came back to power, elitism and politics – and their pursuit. However, the reason I’m writing Talk Radio today touches on one specific question that I found intriguing enough to make the subtitle of my article.

Did Hope for Rising GOP Stars like Bobby Jindal Play a Role in the Obama’s Presidential Eligibility Scandal?

I know that Talk Radio’s Rush Limbaugh has made a joke or two about the subject. (What do God and Obama have in common? Neither has a birth certificate.)  However, I haven’t heard Sean Hannity address the issue. Maybe he’s made a passing remark, but nothing in depth.  Michael Savage is the only one that actually had Philip Berg on his radio program during the election (that I know of). Glenn Beck on the other hand has felt the need to ridicule everyone who raises the issue.  Even though, it’s very clear that he and his staff have not done sufficient research or analysis regarding who can be considered a  ‘natural born citizen’ under Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution.

This brings me to my question for Talk Radio.  I’ve heard that many would like to see Gov. Jindal represent the Republican Party as its nominee for President in 2012.  Rush brought his name up during the last election as a VP possibility. Personally I like Governor Jindal of Louisiana a lot and wish for him nothing but the best.

However, in researching my last article, I discovered that ‘Gov. Jindal was born in Louisiana in 1971 and his parents are Indian immigrants who came here to attend graduate school.’  Gov. Jindal’s father left his family village in 1970 so it’s very unlikely that he was an American citizen at the time of Bobby’s birth. As far as I can tell, having a parent who is not an American citizen at the time of one’s birth creates an impenetrable barrier to being a ‘natural born citizen’, much less having two parents who are not citizens.

Here’s my question:

Given that Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution states that ‘no person except a natural born citizen…shall be eligible to the office of President’… would Gov. Jindal, who was born in Louisiana, having immigrant (non-citizen) parents, be eligible to serve as President should he decide to run in 2012?

I have a legal background, but I’m retired and live very rural.  So, I was wondering if Talk Radio might help me (all of us) out?   It would be great if Talk Radio would invite a few people on your shows to discuss the topic.  (There are additional issues such as the effect of parents having dual citizenships, 14^th Amendment, etc. that would be helpful to explore.)

I know, I know – most Talk Radio may have glanced at this issue and dismissed it, have instructions from higher ups not to discuss Obama’s eligibility or maybe,  they’ve been threatened, but that’s not what I’m asking.  I only want you to talk about Gov. Jindal’s potential eligibility to serve as President and Commander In Chief of our Armed Forces.

If Gov. Jindal does run, this will be a critical question to answer before the 2012 Republican National Convention. And, much I would hate it; I know that many others and I will be asking these same questions and many more eligibility lawsuits will be filed.

Such a circus in 2012 would be a big mess and Talk Radio could do the country a BIG favor today! The whole Bobby Jindal eligibility issue can be defused in 2010 and therefore, allow Republicans, regular Democrats, Independents, and Tea Party folks to focus on who they like or don’t like, without fear of distraction.  

If Talk Radio were really looking for answers/truth and brought in Constitutional Law experts to thoroughly explore the phrase ‘natural born citizen’, I’m sure many would tune in discover what the Jindal eligibility issue is truly about and set the record straight regarding the rhetoric that has been so pervasive online this past year or so.

PS – It probably wouldn’t be such a big mess because I have faith that Gov. Jindal would provide all the documentation necessary to make the determination of his eligibility. Easy – no lawsuits, no worry among the troops about if they are following ‘unlawful order’, everyone could rest easy.

The Journolist Truth Assassins - careless with truth regarding little things, big things and all things in between. Do you doubt the "Journolists Truth Assassins" were involved in shaping the news regarding Obama's lack of eligibility?

In support of Lt. Col. Lakin’s courage in seeking the ‘Truth’ (and as a former In-Flight Tech in the Navy), I urge all who have served or have friends/family in the military to ask the following question of those currently serving. 

Brothers and Sisters in the Military, when are you going to demand Obama establish that he is a Natural Born Citizen, eligible to serve as Commander In Chief?  

The military is the only government organization that I continue to have respect for and it pains me criticize those serving.  And I understand the consequences of challenging Obama’s eligibility directly, but the continuing attacks against our Constitution by the left cannot be allowed to pass without objection in some form or another.  Acquiescence is not the only option.

Consider this please.  What if every serviceman or woman went to his or her Chaplin, stated their concerns and provided the basic evidence (direct and circumstantial, links, former statements by NPR etc. indicating a Kenyan birth, etc., etc.) that would cause most reasonable persons to have legitimate questions about Obama’s lack of eligibility to serve and issue lawful orders?  What if requests were made to each Chaplin instructing them to pass these concerns up the Chain of Command?  Would there come a point, a number of requests that would cause the leadership to demand proof of eligibility?

Maybe military leadership could utilize the following provision?

§ 935. Art. 135. Courts of inquiry

(a) Courts of inquiry to investigate any matter may be convened by any person authorized to convene a general court-martial or by any other person designated by the Secretary concerned for that purpose, whether or not the persons involved have requested such an inquiry.

If the Oath to protect the Constitution is not important today, why don’t we just change the oath of allegiance to reflect our current level of commitment? 

I, _______, do solemnly swear to protect ME and I will try to defend the Constitution as long as it doesn’t adversely impact the aforementioned ‘ME’.

Please consider this short guidance and talking points below:

Ask to speak to the legislative assistant who handles defense issues. If unavailable, ask to speak to the legislative staffer who handles the Judiciary Committee and Constitutional issues. Avoid speaking to the receptionist, as this person generally is a junior staffer and does not have legislative responsibilities. Please be sure to take down the name of the Congressional staffer and keep notes on the content of your conversation.

Ask if the Congressman or Senator believes that a decorated military officer should face jail time for upholding his sworn oath to the Constitution- and for seeking assurance that his military orders were legal– issued by a lawful Commander-in-Chief, when a copy of Barack Obama’s original birth certificate would cost less than $20 to obtain?

(Keep in mind that the Obama online Certification of Live Birth which appeared on some websites in 2008 is NOT an original birth certificate- it is a laser-printed, computer generated document- the original 1961 birth filing– which produced the two newspapers announcements in Hawaiian papers, remains concealed at Barack Obama’s directive).

 

Also remember that the State of Hawaii has never claimed that the Certification of Live Birth is a state-issued document. Realize most Members of Congress who’ve answered letters on the eligibility issue believe Obama was “natural born” because they believed he was born in Hawaii- therefore, press them on this next question:

Why has no hospital in Hawaiil claimed to be the birthplace of Obama and why were two hospital names given out to the press (first, Queens Medical Center and then Kapi’olani)?- and why has no doctor or midwife’s name been identified by any Obama spokesman? What possible explanation could be there be for the lack of a hospital name or attending physician- two standard data points common to original birth certificates?

Finally, ask if the Congressman is willing to speak up to and demand Obama act to avert a possible jail sentence for LTC Lakin for staying true to his sworn oath and for doing his duty- to uphold the U.S. Constitution. (and remember, ALL Members of Congress also take an oath to support the U.S. Constitution)…..

Major General Jerry Curry says House and Senate need to serve notice on Obama to clear up his eligibility or resign.

Retired Army Major General Jerry Ralph Curry appeared on the Talk to Solomon Show and was questioned about Obama eligibility challenger LTC Terry Lakin and Obama’s eligibility.  During this exchange MGEN Curry says that LTC Lakin is a very brave man but they will try to destroy him personally.  He goes on to say we shouldn’t play games with Obama.  The MGEN then says the House and Senate need to serve notice on Obama to clear up his eligibility or resign.  Video of the exchange embedded below.

And finally, the 3rd District Court of Appeals backed off their attempt to intimidate Mario Apuzzo, Esq. by forcing him to show cause why he should not be sanctioned for filing a frivolous lawsuit in the case of Kerchner et al v. Obama/Congress et. al.

What does the 3^rd District’s action mean? 

It means the court did not want to open up any possibility of discovery to Mario Apuzzo that would attract attention. They realized the screwed up and could not go forward without opening up the possibility of evidence of Obama’s ineligibility coming before the court.

The other possibility is that they wanted to punt and clear the way for Mario Apuzz to appeal Kerchner to the Supreme Court of the United States so they would take the heat for upholding the Constitution and finding Obama ineligible to serve as President.

The Supreme Court has a few possible avenues and each has consequences.

1 – The Court could do as they have been all doing and deny Cert. without comment.  The consequence of this course of action (inaction) is that the millions of Americans who recognize that the issue of who is a natural born citizen is an vital Constitutional issue and who clearly see that the Court has been trying to avoid the issue (as has admitted to by Justice Thomas) will continue losing faith in the Courts and the Rule of Law.  This course says that Justice is not blind – it really does matter who is involved.  There is no Justice.  This act of cowardice would in effect corner the American people and force them to consider other options.

2 – The Court could actually hear the case and make a ruling only on the standing issue.  If they decide that the lower court erred, they would likely remand the case for further proceedings.  The Court would necessarily give more guidance/explanation for the lower courts regarding the issue of standing in challenging future elections and the election process. The really brave action would be for the Supreme Court to also actually define the term “natural born citizen” for guidance to the lower court and for election officials at the state levels so this would never come up again. I’m sure there will be many in 2012 filing suits against Obama & Jindal if they have ‘standing’.

3 – Another option might be for the Court to affirm the lower Court’s determination regarding lack of standing but focus on giving guidance regarding the term ‘natural born citizen’.  The Court could address the definitional issue because it is an issue of great public importance and is likely to be repeated/confronted in the future, referencing the possibility of Gov. Jindal running for President in 2012. (I believe Gov. Jindal was born in the United States but his parents were not.)  This course of action would leave a bad taste for millions of Americans but would arm the States the necessary definition to ensure that the Constitution is enforced in the future. (For Justices appointed by Obama – recusal would be in order.)  It would make the remainder of Obama’s term a nightmare – and if the Democrats in Congress did not investigate to ensure Obama’s eligibility they would be voted out of power for decades to come. This would be the Supreme Court punting the political issue to Congress. I wonder if the media truth assassins would cover it?

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals Finds Attorney Apuzzo Not Liable for Obama’s/Congress’ Damages and Costs Incurred by Them in Defending the Kerchner Appeal

On July 2, 2010, the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals issued its decision affirming the New Jersey Federal District Court’s dismissal of the Kerchner et al v. Obama/Congress et al case for lack of Article III standing. The Court ordered that I show cause in 14 days why the Court should not find me liable for just damages and costs suffered by the defendants, not in having to defend against the merits of plaintiffs’ underlying claims that Putative President Obama is not an Article II “natural born Citizen,” that he has yet to conclusively prove that he was born in Hawaii, that Congress failed to exercise its constitutional duty to properly vet and investigate Obama’s “natural born Citizen” status, and that former Vice President and President of the Senate, Dick Cheney, and current Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, were complicit in that Congressional failure, but rather in having to defendant against what the court considers to be a frivolous appeal of the District Court’s dismissal of their claims on the ground of Article III standing. On Monday, July 19, 2010, I filed my response. This afternoon, on July 22, 2010, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals issued its decision on whether it should impose the damages and costs upon me. The Court has decided not to impose any damages and costs upon me and has discharged its order to show cause. This means that the matter of damages and costs is closed. Here is the Court’s decision:

“ORDER (SLOVITER, BARRY and HARDIMAN, Circuit Judges) On July 2, 2010, this Court filed an Order to Show Cause directing Appellants’ counsel to show cause in writing why he should not be subject to an Order pursuant to F.R.A.P. 38 for pursuing a frivolous appeal. In response, Mario Apuzzo filed a 95-page statement that contains, inter alia, numerous statements directed to the merits of this Court’s opinion, which the Court finds unpersuasive. His request that the Court reconsider its opinion is denied, as the appropriate procedure for that issue is through a Petition for Rehearing. However, based on Mr. Apuzzo’s explanation of his efforts to research the applicable law on standing, we hereby discharge the Order to Show Cause, filed. Sloviter, Authoring Judge. (PDB).”

I want to thank everyone who supported and encouraged me in this battle. This includes everyone who expressed their feelings on this matter through blog posts, articles, comments, and emails.

The “Journolist” is a listserv comprised of several hundred top liberal journalists from influential American and British media outlets, as well as like-minded professors, union reps and activists. Leftist media hack and WaPo journalist Ezra Klein founded Journolist with far left crank Joe Klein from TIME magazine in February of 2007. Klein admitted that Journolist was an “insulated space where the lure of a smart, ongoing conversation would encourage journalists, policy experts and assorted other observers to share their insights with one another.” But, you had to be a leftist to join this group. It was an exclusive club. And, it grew to include 400 of the most prominent leftist American journalists who shared ideas and helped spin the far left narrative in the state-run media. This is where far left cranks colluded to spit out the DNC’s talking points and to defend President Barack Obama’s radical past and socialist agenda. Ezra Klein reportedly shut down Journolist on June 28, 2010 after leaks were reported. Andrew Breitbart announced recently that he would reward $100,000 to anyone who could provide the full “JournoList” archive, source fully protected.

Now we find out that one of Barack Obama’s top advisers was a member and participated on Journolist.
Jared Bernstein was an Obama economic adviser and member of Journolist.

In support of Lt. Col. Lakin’s courage in seeking the ‘Truth’ (and as a former In-Flight Tech in the Navy), I urge all who have served or have friends/family in the military to ask the following question of those currently serving. 

Brothers and Sisters in the Military, when are you going to demand Obama establish that he is a Natural Born Citizen, eligible to serve as Commander In Chief?  

The military is the only government organization that I continue to have respect for and it pains me criticize those serving.  And I understand the consequences of challenging Obama’s eligibility directly, but the continuing attacks against our Constitution by the left cannot be allowed to pass without objection in some form or another.  Acquiescence is not the only option.

Consider this please.  What if every serviceman or woman went to his or her Chaplin, stated their concerns and provided the basic evidence (direct and circumstantial, links, former statements by NPR etc. indicating a Kenyan birth, etc., etc.) that would cause most reasonable persons to have legitimate questions about Obama’s lack of eligibility to serve and issue lawful orders?  What if requests were made to each Chaplin instructing them to pass these concerns up the Chain of Command?  Would there come a point, a number of requests that would cause the leadership to demand proof of eligibility?

Maybe military leadership could utilize the following provision?

§ 935. Art. 135. Courts of inquiry

(a) Courts of inquiry to investigate any matter may be convened by any person authorized to convene a general court-martial or by any other person designated by the Secretary concerned for that purpose, whether or not the persons involved have requested such an inquiry.

If the Oath to protect the Constitution is not important today, why don’t we just change the oath of allegiance to reflect our current level of commitment? 

I, _______, do solemnly swear to protect ME and I will try to defend the Constitution as long as it doesn’t adversely impact the aforementioned ‘ME’.

STUTTGART, GERMANY – The Nazis made plans to conduct a Holocaust of Jews living in Palestine during the Second World War, according to German historians who have examined secret archives. The Nazis stationed a unit of ruthless troops in the Greek capital Athens with the task of landing in Palestine and murdering about 500,000 European Jews who had taken refuge there, the historians at the University of Stuttgart said Wednesday. But it never deployed.

The rapid-deployment unit was answerable to the Afrika Korps, the German army in North Africa headed by Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.

Klaus Michael Mallmann of the University’s Ludwigsburg research team and his assistant Martin Cueppers said they had spent three years studying German wartime archives including those at the Foreign Office in Berlin.

The Allied defeat of Rommel at the end of 1942 had prevented the extension of the Holocaust to Palestine, they said. If Rommel had beaten the Allies in the desert and invaded Egypt, a push into Palestine would have followed and the unit would have deployed there.

The researchers, whose findings appear in a new book entitled Germans, Jews, Genocide, said the Athens unit was intended to operate like Nazi units that hunted for Jews in eastern Europe and either massacred them or sent them to the Nazi death camps.

Mallmann and Cueppers said the Nazis had planned to exploit Arab friendship for their plans.

“The most important collaborator with the Nazis and an absolute Arab anti-Semite was Haj Amin al-Husseini, the mufti of Jerusalem,” they said in the book. He was a prime example of how Arabs and Nazis became friends out of a hatred of Jews. …

Dear Talk Radio:

This week I wrote an article, ‘Trumping Political and Judicial Courage’, that allowed me to speculate about the various reasons allegations related to Obama’s eligibility to serve as President have thus far been ignored, ridiculed, quashed, mischaracterized, and/or generally swept under the rug.  My musings always came back to power, elitism and politics – and their pursuit. However, the reason I’m writing Talk Radio today touches on one specific question that I found intriguing enough to make the subtitle of my article.

Did Hope for Rising GOP Stars like Bobby Jindal Play a Role in the Obama’s Presidential Eligibility Scandal?

I know that Talk Radio’s Rush Limbaugh has made a joke or two about the subject. (What do God and Obama have in common? Neither has a birth certificate.)  However, I haven’t heard Sean Hannity address the issue. Maybe he’s made a passing remark, but nothing in depth.  Michael Savage is the only one that actually had Philip Berg on his radio program during the election (that I know of). Glenn Beck on the other hand has felt the need to ridicule everyone who raises the issue.  Even though, it’s very clear that he and his staff have not done sufficient research or analysis regarding who can be considered a  ‘natural born citizen’ under Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution.

This brings me to my question for Talk Radio.  I’ve heard that many would like to see Gov. Jindal represent the Republican Party as its nominee for President in 2012.  Rush brought his name up during the last election as a VP possibility. Personally I like Governor Jindal of Louisiana a lot and wish for him nothing but the best.

However, in researching my last article, I discovered that ‘Gov. Jindal was born in Louisiana in 1971 and his parents are Indian immigrants who came here to attend graduate school.’  Gov. Jindal’s father left his family village in 1970 so it’s very unlikely that he was an American citizen at the time of Bobby’s birth. As far as I can tell, having a parent who is not an American citizen at the time of one’s birth creates an impenetrable barrier to being a ‘natural born citizen’, much less having two parents who are not citizens.

Here’s my question:

Given that Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution states that ‘no person except a natural born citizen…shall be eligible to the office of President’… would Gov. Jindal, who was born in Louisiana, having immigrant (non-citizen) parents, be eligible to serve as President should he decide to run in 2012?

I have a legal background, but I’m retired and live very rural.  So, I was wondering if Talk Radio might help me (all of us) out?   It would be great if Talk Radio would invite a few people on your shows to discuss the topic.  (There are additional issues such as the effect of parents having dual citizenships, 14^th Amendment, etc. that would be helpful to explore.)

I know, I know – most Talk Radio may have glanced at this issue and dismissed it, have instructions from higher ups not to discuss Obama’s eligibility or maybe,  they’ve been threatened, but that’s not what I’m asking.  I only want you to talk about Gov. Jindal’s potential eligibility to serve as President and Commander In Chief of our Armed Forces.

If Gov. Jindal does run, this will be a critical question to answer before the 2012 Republican National Convention. And, much I would hate it; I know that many others and I will be asking these same questions and many more eligibility lawsuits will be filed.

Such a circus in 2012 would be a big mess and Talk Radio could do the country a BIG favor today! The whole Bobby Jindal eligibility issue can be defused in 2010 and therefore, allow Republicans, regular Democrats, Independents, and Tea Party folks to focus on who they like or don’t like, without fear of distraction.  

If Talk Radio were really looking for answers/truth and brought in Constitutional Law experts to thoroughly explore the phrase ‘natural born citizen’, I’m sure many would tune in discover what the Jindal eligibility issue is truly about and set the record straight regarding the rhetoric that has been so pervasive online this past year or so.

PS – It probably wouldn’t be such a big mess because I have faith that Gov. Jindal would provide all the documentation necessary to make the determination of his eligibility. Easy – no lawsuits, no worry among the troops about if they are following ‘unlawful order’, everyone could rest easy.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have this discussion and answers about Gov. Jindal’s eligibility before the next Presidential Election?

The man accused of masterminding the ambush and slaughter of the four Americans is now in U.S. custody, but three Navy SEALs are facing charges in connection with an alleged post-arrest assault on the man.

Now, congressmen are lining up in defense of the SEALs — one of whom grew up in Blue Island — by offering passionate speeches and asking for a new look at the charges.

Rep. Duncan D. Hunter, a Republican from the San Diego area and an Iraq war veteran, told the Navy Times on Thursday he is asking Defense Secretary Robert Gates to look into the charges against the SEALs.

“It’s just so absurd. I mean, they split his lip. In a boxing situation, that’s legal,” Hunter said. “They punched a terrorist in the face and, boom, we’re going to launch these guys out of the Navy.”

Just like Obama is not Malcolm X - Obama is not a "Natural Born Citizen"! Obama may look like Malcolm X and Obama may be a "Citizen"; but being a "Citizen" does not necessarily mean that Obama is a "Natural Born Citizen"! Gov. Palin should draw attention to this distinction.

It seems that Gov. Sarah Palin has weighed in on the issue of whether Obama is a “natural born citizen”.  I’m sure Gov. Palin will be attacked for not answering the interviewer’s question with the required answer for all such questions dictated by the mainstream media. Thank you Gov. Palin!

Sarah is a nirther

 On Rusty Humphries radio show, in an the exclusive interview, Sarah Palin  said  the following according to  Ben Smith’s transcript, at Politico.com:

“Would you make the birth certificate an issue if you ran?” she was asked (around 9 minutes into the video above).

“I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers,” she replied.

She must have seen the analysis of the forged COLB (certification of live brith) at Atlas from June 2008. 

In a related Hot Air post, Allahpundit says concerning the “birthers”, “this particular science is well settled”.  I looked through the articles Hot Air linked to and it appears that Allahpundit believes that Obama is a “citizen” and is therefore a “natural born citizen”.   If Allahpundit would take just a little more time to research this issue he would find that the terms “citizen” and “natural born citizen” are not equal.  The differences are not difficult to understand but do require looking beyond media headlines. 

A good place to start would be Atty Mario Apuzzo’s site. Mario Apuzzo is the attorney for CDR Charles Kerchner.  They contend that to be a “natural born citizen” both parents must be citizens of the United States.  Even if Allahpundit believes that it is settled science as to the question of Obama being a “citizen” of the U. S. – it is not settled science/law as to the question of does being a “citizen” equal being a “natural born citizen”.  It does not. 

I hope Gov. Sarah Palin will study up on the distinctions of the two terms and stay away from the Hawaii birthplace because it is not critical.

I would bet that one could find a ton of “climategate” like emails in the mainstream media setting out an intentional game plan to equate the two terms and demean those daring to ask such a question of Obama.

I love beginning posts with personal anecdotes, which you can deduce from the fact that I never do it. No time like the present to start!

One week in high school, my all-time second-favorite social studies teacher, Lyle Thornton Wolf, presented us with a fascinating unit:

On Monday, he passed out forty-eight distinct high-school and college level American history textbooks (there being 48 students in the class). Each of us got a different textbook, though some were merely later versions of an earlier text that somebody else had. Each of us took his book home with instructions to read and “brief” (like a lawyer would) the factual events — not interpretations or speculations — recounted in his book about the Boston Massacre.

Then on Wednesday, Mr. Wolf began going through the incident, student by student, making a “comparison table” on the blackboard using every important fact from each book… e.g., the number of colonists killed by the redcoats, the number wounded, how many lobster-backs and Yankee doodles were present, what provocation (if any) did the colonists give to the soldiers, how long the shooting lasted, who was the first shot, and so forth.

As a court trial followed the shootings, and that trial took eyewitness and forensic evidence (future President John Adams defended the soldiers), one would expect nearly all the facts to be reported the same way in every textbook. Not so; there was significant variation in the details taught to students about that infamous eruption of anti-democratic violence.

But Mr. Wolf didn’t stop there, and this was his genius; he was more interested in teaching us good researching skills than specific numbers of people killed in the Boston Massacre. Thus he also made each of us read the footnotes, endnotes, and any other errata indicating the source of the supposed facts reported in his assigned book; he then put up a posterboard list of all the textbook titles arranged like a matrix.

As we reported the sources for each book, Mr. Wolf drew an arrow from the source to the book that cited it. After about ten books, we quickly realized that not a single one of the 48 textbooks cited any primary document or original source material; each cited only other high-school or college textbooks. In fact, only a couple of them cited texts not already in our hands (both times older editions of books we did have).

Worse, the entire set of citations was a snarl of textbook “daisy chains”: Textbook A (let’s say it was the 1962 edition) would have an arrow pointing to B (1964); B pointed to C (1965), which pointed to D (1968)… but D then pointed to a later version of textbook A, say the 1970 edition.

In other words, there was no “ultimate source”: The books just referenced and reinforced each other.

Thus it was hardly a surprise that, variations aside, all the books agreed on the core issues: The colonists were disorderly but didn’t provoke the shooting; no colonist used a firearm; the British were almost entirely to blame; and they only got off because of the eloquence of Adams. The issue was closed; no need to rethink any basic premise. After all, if that interpretation of the data wasn’t perfectly true, what are the odds that all those textbooks would just happen to agree with each other?

On Saturday, as Climategate really began to heat up, the princes of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) started to get their backs up. They were driven to agree, at long last, to release the raw data behind their predictions… or as much of it remained after they deliberately destroyed most of it in the 1980s.

Faced with the charge that the data they destroyed could have shown that globaloney theory was built on sand (and fabricated sand at that), one of the university’s vice chancellors concocted a novel counterargument:

Professor Trevor Davies, the university’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Research Enterprise and Engagement, said yesterday: “CRU’s full data will be published in the interests of research transparency when we have the necessary agreements. It is worth reiterating that our conclusions correlate well to those of other scientists based on the separate data sets held by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies.”

Like a speech by Barack H. Obama’s teleprompter, it sounds good out of the corner of your ear; but in reality, this argument is a complete non-sequitur. Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called a captain’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Thank you to all who have lost a son, daughter, husband, wife, sister, brother or other family member in service to America protecting freedom.   Thank You!  The Soldiers Killed or Injured at Ft. Hood

Deserve the Purple Heart! -

When I think about the soldiers at Ft. Hood who were killed or injured during Major Hassan’s Islamic Terrorist Attack, it makes my blood boil.  From Obama, Pelosi, Reid, on down to General Casey, political correctness run amuck is controlling the narrative, the investigation, and the media.  It’s Veteran’s Day and America has lost 13 of its finest to an Islamic Terror Attack and all Obama wants to do is point everyone away from the true source of our loss – Islamic Terror on American soil. 

Every one of these brave soldiers are entitled to receive a Purple Heart, but political correctness won’t allow America paying tribute to these soldiers killed or injured in combat because the phrase “Islamic Terrorists” might have to be used. Disgusting.  Obama repeatedly ignores the Constitution our servicemen and women have sworn to defend – (he’s not a “Natural Born Citizen” thus not entitled to serve as Commander In Chief, the appointment of Czars without Congressional approval is likely unconstitutional, there’s no Constitutional authority for his takeover of businesses and healthcare, etc.).

Obama’s constant attack and disregard of the military evidenced by his dithering about Afghanistan troop levels, slashing military programs, undermining the work of the CIA and military interrogators, shouting out for nearly 2 minutes before informing America of the Islamic attack on Ft. Hood and not knowing the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day last year is inexcusable. It’s obvious that Obama’s loyalties lie not with the military but elsewhere.

My biggest worry is that if Obama’s march towards a socialist takeover of America is allowed to continue unabated, then every soldier who has made the ultimate sacrifice for Freedom will have died in vain.  As a Veteran, this prospect breaks my heart.

However, Obama may not be able to get away with calling this anything other than a terrorist attack.
