If Obama gets 20% of Jewish votes in 2012, it proves we can’t defend ourselves.

When it came to protecting the right of the Libyan Ambassador to the UN living immediately next door to me in Englewood, my Democratic Congressman, Steve Rothman, found his voice, issuing a three page press release about a deal he had brokered with the State Department 27 years ago for the Libyans to bizarrely remain in a New Jersey suburb. But when I asked Rothman, who is Jewish, to comment on US President Barack Obama’s degrading treatment of Israel’s elected officials recently and the administration’s opposition to Jews building in all parts of Jerusalem, his chief of staff sent me an email that said the congressman was “away for the holidays so we won’t be able to provide you with a statement.”

Attitudes like these on the part of influential Jewish members of the American establishment explain why Obama has been allowed to get away with his treatment of Israel. Yes, it is we Jews who allow it, afraid to take a stand against a president who is rapidly emerging as the new Jimmy Carter.

Don’t think Obama isn’t listening.

When it came to endorsing a recent Congressional vote to label the Turks’ slaughter of over one million Armenians during the first World War a genocide, Obama quickly broke a campaign pledge, and a moral duty, to do just that and publicly distanced himself from the term genocide in order not to offend the Turkish government. And when it came to hosting the Dalai Lama at the White House, the president quickly bowed to Chinese bullying, not only refusing to greet the great humanitarian publicly but sending him out through the service entrance of the White House where he was photographed surrounded by giant bags of garbage. But when it comes to treating America’s most reliable ally like a pariah nation, Obama has no fear of the American Jewish community because he’s convinced there will be no price to pay. The Jews are too timid to react.

HOW SAD that we Jews have become so politically pathetic. Although there were grave suspicions about Obama’s position on Israel before the campaign, greatly compounded by his having sat through 20 years of vitriol toward Israel from his own pastor, American Jewry gave Obama the benefit of the doubt. Nearly eighty percent of American Jews voted for him against a proven friend of Israel in John McCain.

But as they say, “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

Amid the Jewish propensity to blindly pull the Democrat lever in every vote without even thinking, if Obama gets anything more than twenty percent of the Jewish vote in 2012 it will be a manifestation of a community which simply doesn’t know how to stand up for itself and has contempt for its own interests….Continue Reading

A legal team of experts on civil liberties and human rights is asking a federal court in Michigan to grant a preliminary injunction preventing the implementation of the “individual mandate” in “Obamacare,” warning that if imposed, it effectively will destroy the nation.

“The term ‘nanny state’ does not even begin to describe what we will have wrought,” argues the brief filed by the Thomas More Law Center.

The organization previously filed a lawsuit on behalf of four Michigan residents who object to the government’s plan to force them to buy health-care insurance and pay for abortions – or be penalized.

The case was brought to U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, seeking a halt to the legislation.

Named as defendants in the lawsuit are President Obama, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement—and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation’s first black president.

“I’ve been told I hate myself. I’ve been called an Uncle Tom. I’ve been told I’m a spook at the door,” said Timothy F. Johnson, chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a group of black conservatives who support free market principles and limited government.

Black Republicans find themselves always having to prove who they are. Because the assumption is the Republican Party is for whites and the Democratic Party is for blacks,” he said.

Johnson and other black conservatives say they were drawn to the tea party movement because of what they consider its commonsense fiscal values of controlled spending, less taxes and smaller government. The fact that they’re black—or that most tea partyers are white—should have nothing to do with it, they say.

“You have to be honest and true to yourself. What am I supposed to do, vote Democratic just to be popular? Just to fit in?” asked Clifton Bazar, a 45-year-old New Jersey freelance photographer and conservative blogger.

Opponents have branded the tea party as a group of racists hiding behind economic concerns—and reports that some tea partyers were lobbing racist slurs at black congressmen during last month’s heated health care vote give them ammunition.

But these black conservatives don’t consider racism representative of the movement as a whole—or race a reason to support it.

Angela McGlowan, a black congressional candidate from Mississippi, said her tea party involvement is “not about a black or white issue.”

“It’s not even about Republican or Democrat, from my standpoint,” she told The Associated Press. “All of us are taxed too much.”

Obama birth certificate issue more urgent than ever

Now that the regime currently occupying the White House has bribed, threatened, intimidated, bullied, manipulated and cut unconstitutional and illegal deals exclusively with Democrats to vote for the totalitarian nightmare of socialized medicine, the subject of Obama’s missing birth certificate is more timely and relevant than ever — precisely because the ugly spectacle emphasized once again the degree to which Obama has arrogantly flouted, sneered at, and spit upon the U.S. Constitution, a document he and his handlers and henchmen clearly revile and are determined to shred and destroy.

The same contempt for the bedrock foundations of our country was apparent during Obama’s run for the presidency and his refusal to produce his birth certificate. It reminds me of the search I conducted in 2004 for my mother’s birth certificate, a non-negotiable prerequisite for her admission into a nursing home. Although she was born in a farmhouse in 1913 to immigrants who didn’t speak English, it took me only three phone calls and not more than 20 minutes to locate this valuable document. Unlike Obama, who was born, he says, in 1961, I didn’t pay nearly two-million dollars to lawyers to fight the nursing home’s request.

To this day Obama has failed to produce proof that he was born in the United States and that he is a natural-born American citizen, one of only three absolute requirements in the U.S. Constitution to become President of the United States. In fact, if Obama is not a natural-born American citizen, he is acting as president under false pretenses, which de facto makes every statement he has made as the usurper POTUS, every bill he has signed, every tsar he has appointed, every act, proclamation, signing statement, executive order, and law, et al, fraudulent, illegal, and therefore null and void — including this unconstitutional healthcare so-called reform bill.

As I type, Mr. Hope & Change is working on granting citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants to further bankrupt the United States and thereby etch in stone a constituency that relies on free everything — and will therefore return the favor by voting Democratic in future elections. This will actualize his and the far-left’s goals of turning our democratic Republic into a Communist share-the-poverty facsimile of a Russian, Cuban or Venezuelan state!

Editor’s note: This is another in a series of monthly “Freedom Index” polls conducted exclusively for WND by the public opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies.  

Nearly one American in four routinely censors his or her own thoughts “much” or “always” under President Obama’s administration, and those who believe their personal liberties have plunged since inauguration day have grown significantly from 49 percent to more than 55 percent in just one month.

This month, of course, was when Democrats rammed through a bill that essentially nationalizes health care, creating new requirements for consumers to purchase a government-chosen plan or face penalties.

The WND Freedom Index poll from Wenzel Strategies shows even one in 10 Democrats – whose party controls both the White House and Congress – believes there’s been a big decrease in freedoms.

“Largely on the negative reaction by men to the actions of Obama and Democrats in Washington, the Freedom Index has dipped again to its near all-time low, sitting at 46.7 on a 100-point scale,” said Fritz Wenzel in his analysis of the results.

President Barack Obama having been inaugurated at a time when the United States had few friends is rapidly changing that to read no friends.

At present while concluding new “friendships” around the world, the US President is fast shedding his relationships with the reliable allies upon whom America could rely in times of war.

In the Middle East for example relations are strained with Israel but “improved” with Syria, Jordan and Egypt.

This while conducting wars of varying intensity in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq.

Iran of course remains the major concern with nuclear weapons being rapidly developed. Efforts to avoid this will be blocked by Obama’s new “friends” Russia – with whom he has concluded an unnecessary nuclear deal – and China who are simmering over weapons sold to Taiwan, protectionism and threats being made against the yuan.

As a result Arab countries will continue to praise Obama’s anti-Israel campaign all the while intensifying their support for the enemies of the United States in the region as they have done in the past and will continue to do in the future.

In order for Obama to achieve the kind of friendship that he believes he has now, would require the complete withdrawal of all troops from the region leaving the US and EU at the mercy of Russia and Iran when trying to fulfill their energy needs. Not a pretty picture as the Ukraine and EU recently found out.

However following his current approach to foreign affairs don’t rule that approach out.

In official Washington, some consider the Tea Party movement a fringe element in society, but voters across the nation feel closer to the Tea Party movement than they do to Congress.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress. Only 30% believe that those in Congress have a better understanding of the key issues facing the nation.

Is the Mandate Unenforceable?   [Daniel Foster]

According to a report by Congress’s Joint Committee on Taxation, the individual mandate in Obamacare lacks any real enforcement mechanism:

The penalty applies to any period the individual does not maintain minimum essential coverage and is determined monthly. The penalty is assessed through the Code and accounted for as an additional amount of Federal tax owed. However, it is not subject to the enforcement provisions of subtitle F of the Code. The use of liens and seizures otherwise authorized for collection of taxes does not apply to the collection of this penalty. Non-compliance with the personal responsibility requirement to have health coverage is not subject to criminal or civil penalties under the Code and interest does not accrue for failure to pay such assessments in a timely manner.

This is probably, to echo the vice-president, a B.F.D. Without effective enforcement of the individual mandate, and with proscriptions against denying coverage on preexisting conditions, you’ve got yourself the potential for a pretty big moral hazard.

TALLAHASSEE – Attorney General Bill McCollum today filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Treasury, and the U.S. Department of Labor alleging the Health Care Reform bill signed into law by President Obama this morning is unconstitutional. The bipartisan lawsuit was joined by 12 Attorney Generals and is the first challenge of the new law.
”This bipartisan effort by Attorney Generals around the country should put the Federal Government on notice that we will not tolerate the constitutional rights of our citizens and the sovereignty of our states to be trampled on,” said Attorney General Bill McCollum. ”This law represents an unprecedented encroachment on the liberty of the American people, and I will pursue this litigation to the highest court if necessary.”
The Attorney Generals from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, Louisiana, Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Washington, Idaho, and South Dakota joined Florida’s lawsuit, filed today in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
The complaint alleges the new law infringes upon the constitutional rights of Floridians and residents of the other states by mandating all citizens and legal residents have qualifying health care coverage or pay a tax penalty. By imposing such a mandate, the law exceeds the powers of the United States under Article I of the Constitution and violates the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution. Additionally, the tax penalty required under the law constitutes an unlawful direct tax in violation of Article I, sections 2 and 9 of the Constitution.

Just like Obama is not Malcolm X - Obama is not a "Natural Born Citizen"! Obama may look like Malcolm X and Obama may be a "Citizen"; but being a "Citizen" does not necessarily mean that Obama is a "Natural Born Citizen"! Joint Chiefs of Staff’s new mottos: Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil & Don’t rock the boat!

Commander Kerchner has written Glenn Beck a second letter asking him to get involved the ‘natural born citizen’ issue.  I’ve written Glenn a couple of open letters and it appears that Mr. Beck has no intention to look into Obama’s eligibility to be President. 

I’ve taken a little different approach recently by pulling a Pelosi and pole vaulting over Obama to get a media discussion started regarding Gov. Jindal’s eligibility to serve as President.  Gov. Jindal is not a ‘natural born citizen’ either. 

I do wish that Gov. Jindal would man up and address his ineligibility to serve.

How could the media ignore a Jindal press conference?

Are you listening to the People? Are you listening to the members of your “912 Project” who are trying to talk to you on air about the “elephant in the room” of American political discussion and legal question about the 2008 election. Or are you still telling your call screeners to block their calls and/or moderate them out of your chat rooms just like the members of Congress do? Congress is not listening to the People. The election in Massachusetts showed you the results of what happens when the elected officials do not listen to the People. Are you not listening to the People anymore either or just selectively listening? The questions are not the questions of a fringe percentage of the people. A very large percentage, probably 75%+, of the “912 Project” folks and “Tea Party” folks believe that Obama is NOT constitutionally eligible to be the President or certainly at least want the matter fully and thoroughly discussed in public and investigated by the courts and Obama’s hidden and sealed early life original paper records unsealed and revealed. Photoshop’d digital images on the internet are legal proof of nothing. And then there is the issue for the 1961 newspaper ads you tout as infallible proof. They were not placed directly by family members but instead generated by the Hawaiian Health Department upon any birth registration in their system no matter what the source. Have you heard of the GIGO effect for birth registration systems. Falsified birth registration records in yields false record reports in Hawaiian newspapers out. This was likely done by the grandmother to get her newborn grandson U.S. citizenship, despite of where he might have really been born. Births could be registered with a mail-in form filled out by one family member for “at home” births. No one back then in Hawaii checked the credibility of the facts placed on that form. No one at the time was thinking 45 years into the future that this child might someday be a candidate for President and thus someone would question and check the underlying credibility of the facts on the mail-in form. “The widespread arrests of political activists and university students, the silencing of the media, and the forced confessions of prisoners are against the principles of Islam and the constitution of Iran,” the leaders said in a statement.

Democratic leaders spent days trying to hammer out a deal with Nelson, and worked late Friday night with Nelson on abortion coverage language that had proved the major stumbling block. But Nelson also secured other favors for his home state.

Diplomatic solution sought over Iraq oilwell

Iran has called for a diplomatic solution after 11 of its soldiers were accused of seizing an oilwell inside the territory of Iraq.

Media Mischief, the Obama Eligibility Issue and the “Dispositive Fact”

Last week, the media was forced into reporting on the Obama birth-certificate/eligibility issue.  It had little choice because respected CNN Journalist Lou Dobbs had the audacity to suggest that Obama should produce his long-form birth certificate to put to rest the doubts of millions of Americans who believe Obama is not constitutionally eligible to serve as President.  Immediately and predictably, much of the reporting from the main stream media was in the form of vicious attacks, seeking to discredit Mr. Dobbs and others looking for clear and convincing evidence that Mr. Obama is or is not a “Natural Born Citizen” entitling him to serve as President of the United States.  Left-wing bloggers and those in the media who have been carry Obama’s water this past year circled the wagons, and calls that Lou Dobbs be fired rang out. I have to salute Lou Dobbs for his courage and sense of ethical responsibility in addressing this issue at all. Of all the CNN commentators, Lou Dobbs is the one who consistently tries to be fair to all sides.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Times reported that “CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein told staffers at the cable news network Thursday night that the supposed controversy regarding the legitimacy of President Obama’s birth certificate is a “dead” story.”  The article went on to report:

…The website TVNewser reported today that Klein sent an e-mail to staffers of “Lou Dobbs Tonight” just as the program went to air, informing them that CNN researchers had determined that Hawaiian officials discarded all paper documents in 2001. A long-form birth certificate with details about the doctor who delivered Obama no longer exists, they reported. The shorter Certificate of Live Birth noting Obama’s birth on Aug. 4, 1961, that has been made public is the official record.

“It seems to definitively answer the question,” Klein wrote, according to TVNewser. “Since the show’s mission is for Lou to be the explainer and enlightener, he should be sure to cite this during your segment tonite. And then it seems this story is dead — because anyone who still is not convinced doesn’t really have a legitimate beef.”…

Whether or not the assertion that Obama’s long form birth certificate has been destroyed is true, the action by Mr. Klein was clearly intended to get Lou Dobbs to stop rocking the boat and move on.

It seems to me that if the facts are as Mr. Klein says, serious reporters and investigators would be turning over every stone to try to find the truth.  Serious reporters would be going to Kenya; talking to administrators, faculty, and students at all the colleges Obama attended to discover if he talked about his birthplace, applied/registered as a foreign student or received aid as a foreign student; they’d be looking at his past travel and what passports he carried; and they would be seeking the information provided on Obama’s Illinois Bar Application.  One would think that an innocent person sitting in the Oval Office would quickly provide all information necessary to put to bed this troubling “eligibility issue”. Obama has not. (George Bush or Bill Clinton would have, I’m sure.) In fact, Obama has spend hundreds of thousands of dollars (some say 1 to 2 million) trying to keep the past hidden. Thank you, Lou Dobbs, for having the courage to ask the simple question – Where’s the Birth Certificate?

I seriously long for the good old days, when if a reporter or CNN President said something, there was a better than 50% chance it was true.  Unfortunately, regarding the “birth certificate issue” most reporters today are intentionally misstating the facts.  In many of today’s news stories, the headline or body of the story will say something like “birthers don’t believe Obama is a Citizen” or “of course Obama is a Citizen” or “Lou Dobbs believes Obama is a Citizen”.  Such statements are intentionally misleading and are included to portray those asking questions as ridiculous tin-foil hat wearing fools. As Mr. Dobbs has quickly learned, there is a price to be paid for asking questions that might impugn the Obama narrative. (Larry Sinclair was certainly taught this lesson.)

It seems the media is reading from the same playbook. They have somehow decided that if they can blur the meanings of terms “Citizen” and “Natural Born Citizen”, the general public will not look deeply into the issue because the answer is so obvious, and it will go away.  I guess they hope that any time the issue comes up in conversation there will be a knee jerk reaction causing someone to say: That’s stupid, of course Obama is a Citizen, only a fool would think such a thing.

Ridicule is effective, but it won’t deter those who have seriously looked at the allegations and the “common sense” circumstances that compel further inquiry.  Why has Obama not provided his school records, Illinois bar application, long-form birth certificate, passport information, etc., if he doesn’t have anything to hide?  Why has he spent such enormous sums of money on lawyers to keep these documents hidden?  Common sense says there’s something here.  Common sense also says that if these allegations are true, this would be biggest fraud perpetrated against America in her history. Too far fetched?  Did you see the news about authorities arrest 44 in N.J. corruption case (2 lawmakers, 3 mayors, and rabbis accused)? (Mostly, Democrats as far as I can tell.)

The media playbook conveys the understanding that it’s important to blur the definitions of Citizen and Natural Born Citizen because it goes to heart of the matter, the legal and common sense notions of “dispositive facts”.  If this is true, then everything else is false or doesn’t matter. Period! Then anyone who raises such questions is a fool. Obama is a Citizen and of course he is eligible is what the media wants people to believe.  This is pure media mischief, dishonesty, and treachery through and through.

Here’s what people need to know. Even accepting as “fact” that Obama is a Citizen of the United States, it is not a “dispositive fact” that would determine the outcome of the “eligibility issue”.  There are many ways to become an American “Citizen”.  How one acquires “Natural Born Citizen” status is determined solely by the Constitution of the United States.  “Citizen” and “Natural Born Citizen” are NOT synonymous terms. It is the Law (Constitutionally required) that every person holding the Office of President must meet the “Natural Born Citizen” test, which was meant to provide an added measure of presumed allegiance to the United States and her Constitution.  (For example: We would not want an arsonist to be able to become a fireman. If a person does not have a clean record regarding arson, he or she should not be allowed to be a fireman.  It’s not a guarantee that a fireman with no criminal record of arson is not an arsonist, but it’s a step that gives an added measure security.) As Obama says, “let me be clear”, one can be a Citizen and NOT be a “Natural Born Citizen.”

The flip side of this coin – if Obama is found not to be a “Natural Born Citizen”, it would be the “dispositive fact” that would determine the outcome of the “eligibility issue”. Obama could not be President.

So, which type of “Citizen” is Obama?  Real reporters would be turning over heaven and earth to find out.  The American reporters are turning over heaven and earth to cover it up.

Is Obama a “Natural Born Citizen”? It is the one question that must be answered.

There is no middle ground. If Obama cannot serve as Office of the President of the United States, then all appointments (Holder, Sotomayor, Czars, etc.) made by Obama are invalid; as well as any laws, acts or treaties entered into.  If Obama cannot lawfully hold the Office of the President of the United States, all “orders” issued to the United States Military are “unlawful orders”.  This last point is why I am so thankful that it appears that Dr. Orly Taitz’s eligibility case will be heard on the merits. Every soldier has a legal responsibility to  follow only orders that are “lawful”.  Given that burden, every soldier must have a right to be certain of Obama’s authority.

When I look at what Obama has done, is doing and/or proposing regarding Obamanomics, ObamaCare, taking over the auto industry, taking over banks, corrupting Inspector Generals’ independence, the unwillingness to audit the Fed., his unjust treatment of Inspector General Walpin, his lack of transparency, his appointment of an army of Czars circumventing Congress, his appoint to the Supreme Court, his appointment to head Science,  Gitmo, abortion, eugenics, trans-nationalist ideologies, trampling on State’s rights guaranteed under the 10^th Amendment, his assault on the Second Amendment, Homeland Security looking at returning Veterans as Terrorists, ACORN, national security, the Census, his treatment of the Cambridge police, and Cap & Tax; it sure looks to me like an arsonist trying to burn up the Constitution of the United States and replace it with some sort of Socialist manifesto.

If Obama is going to cause the destruction of America and Israel, I at least want to know that he was constitutionally empowered as a “Natural Born Citizen” serving as President of the United States to destroy us.  I hate to think all this could have been prevented by some state official somewhere doing their job and asking to see proof that Obama was eligible to run for office. That never happened.

JERUSALEM (AP) — A joint U.S.-Israeli missile defense system meant to shield Israel from Iranian attack hit a snag when a series of tests were aborted because of malfunctions, defense officials said Thursday.

The Arrow, a joint project between state-run Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. and Chicago-based Boeing Co., is part of a multilayered missile-defense system Israel is working on to protect it from all forms of attack, ranging from short-range rocket fire from Lebanon and Gaza to longer-range missiles from Iran.

Israel sees Iran as its biggest threat because of its nuclear program and development of medium-range ballistic missiles. Those fears have been compounded by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s persistent anti-Israeli rhetoric.

Obama Can’t Criticize the Iranian Election – Ahmadinejad Might Ask Obama Where’s The Birth Certificate – The BOPAC Report

Iran held a historic election and it appears that reform minded voters came out by the millions. Unfortunately, a vote for former Prime Minister Mir Hossein Moussavi must have counted half as much as a vote for Ahmadinejad, given that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared that he won the Presidency of Iran in a landslide.

Even though it looks like there were serious problems with the Iranian election that should be investigated, it is unlikely that any legitimate investigation will take place.  Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has backed the outcome of the election, so that’s that.

It will be interesting to see how forcefully Obama will contest the apparent thwarting of the will of Iranian people.  I would love to see America stand with moderate voices in Iran but Ahmadinejad has the perfect answer to every accusation Obama  might make challenging the legitimacy of the Iranian Election.

It would be like the pot calling the kettle black.
